YG - you're right Steve what'shisname has only written 3 of the gene mysteries. I hadn't realised you'd already bought them all.

We're still trying to decide what clothes to take - neither of us are v good at 'packing light'. OH will have to look at the shirts on the airer to see if there are any he wants ironed. There is no way that all of them are likely to be done today!

DET how organised I am sat here in a daze cos i am shattered but also trying to tidy up in the process lol
Most of the washing is out on the line and tea is organised the rest well I am not dressed though the downstairs is being tidied as too how muse H@@@ work will get done well we will see lol

Not really organised as there are a lot of things that need doing. At the moment, my one and only pair of jeans are tumble drying so that they can be worn later and for the rest of the week.
We are leaving tomorrow morning, about 10 am and back sometime on Friday afternoon.

LG has suggested visiting the Mary Rose & OH wants to go to Dorchester 'because it's there'. I think there are several NT places associated with Hardy in the area. If we pack in everything that's available, we'll need another breask to get over this one :-D

You've set the cat amongst the pigeons now. Fleece which is relatively windproof, or thick cardigan which isn't? Decisions decisions :-(

Definitely fleece DET. From my experience you might need it. Although saying that when it is sunny there it gets quite hot.

Check up went fine and his second one is next week so off we go again :-(. Hopefully they will then leave us alone for 6 months ;-)

Why 2 check ups one week apart? Are they different departments?

Hmm……thinking cardi + waterproof cagoule type jacket? It wouldn’t matter if we didn’t have to fit the in laws suitcase in.

Good to hear that they are taking all possible care over OH's vision. Him-in-bed should be having an eye screening test in the mobile van at the surgery soon because of his diabetes, but no appointment through yet.

I am doing very litle ,DET i always pack too much my theory is thta what i forget or need there is always a charity shop nearby lol ,The south is tropical compared to the north so when you come north you will need thermals lol ,I have washng out and its so dark but it is drying and that is the main thing
