Hello - the wanderer has returned. :-D

We managed to see most of what we wanted to...including the Mary Rose, thank you LG. The tickets are valid for a year; OH thinks it is possible to do a day trip via a more direct route. Weather good considering its England and it only started drizzling yesterday evening.
The inlaws have decided that their hotel was populated by really old people - they're both 88 bless them! The meals have been 'fancied up' since the last time they went - no more meat and two veg. Now its not not really to their taste.

Can't wait until its bed time. Although our beds away were comfy, there is nothing like your own

Off down to R's this evening for his birthday!! Eldest gd been taken to her first prom tonight, ready for moving to upper school :-) :-) Where have the years gone??

its rained all day here today its my weekend off at last so am just going to chill out as i have theree days off next week to catch up with the house work .

morning all you were right YG i was doing laundry and finishing a book off ,I picked it up off the shelf at work and could not put it down though it was not my style of book it was a good quick read .

Morning all - No. I did have a quick peek before shutting down for the night, but did make it to bed before midnight. Second wind had kicked in. Although I've had my 8 hours, another one or two would have been welcome.

Maz - enjoy your weekend off an 'me' time ;-)

It doesn't sound good at work YG if the boss is saying that she'll do her hours and thats it. May be they've realised that she and 'her team' can't do the work that used to be done before the cuts. Time to look for something else perhaps??

Morning all. Wrong YG up and running :-D :-D.(whoops that was last night posting so correct YG) Extra sleep in would have been good but found myself awake at the normal weekday time even though the Mini Gooners are not here :-|. I have 1 lot of laundry ready for the line and another one in.

Fur woke me up at 5.50 so fed him and went back to bed!! I am now chasing round preparing for the carpet and suite cleaning session at lunchtime. It is surprising how much you can get done when under pressure!! :-D :-D :-D

Just a quick brekkie time now and a cuppa before making myself presentable :-D :-D :-D

Went to R's. Saw some lovely pics of gd ready for the prom and arriving at school with her friends. Unfortunately an hour later the evening turned into a complete disaster with a huge row between gd and parents. I am still reeling this morning and I know they will be going through it :-0 :-0 :-( :-(

Morning YG. the phrase comes to mind "and a good time was had by all " NOT!! . Oh dear been there done it and still do it sometimes. What a shame the evening was spoiled for R on his special day.

It certainly made it worse because it was his birthday, LG. They are used to dealing with her 'moods' and I have seen some of them, but this was just awful. I will pm you later and give you the details.

R never gave me any problems in his teen years and I guess it is generally a 'girls only' issue with all the hormones kicking in, but I was mortified and just wanted to leave, although I didn't admit it to them. I managed to contain myself until I left but drove home in tears. It has really shaken me and I am just so thankful that I don't have to bring up any teenagers in this day and age.

Oh YG. They can be horrible. As I have said many times we love our kids but we do not always like them. PM me as you say and we will talk about it <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I'm going to have to dash, as the guy has just arrived to do the carpets. Trust me to get caught out with my hair stood on end and looking like something the cat has dragged in :-D :-D
