One full strength with a dash of milk on its way. There's a few sachets of sugar if you want it sweetened - less messy than the bag and very handy to take out with a flask! :-D

Not sure what we'll do today - there is some ironing lurking around and OH is working up to refinishing a table top. He also muttered about going for a walk in the country.

As we both woke up earlier than we prefer, we may end up snoozing later on

Evening everyone.

A quick visit for now, as two ex colleagues are coming tonight for a takeaway and some pink water :-D :-D They won't be staying late, so hopefully will be back on later.

One of them is my best friend, so it will be good to see her for more than a quick coffee in my lunch break :-) :-)

Well done on the digging, Maz!! Shameful reputation that your family has, lol!! :-D :-D

DET, did you both get your snooze or your walk? Either would have been good, I think, unless it was raining of course :-) :-)

Apart from a quick shower this morning the rain held off until 3.30ish, so the hedge has been cut thankfully. Looks much better now :-)

Morning all – Hope you enjoyed time with your friends YG, with more laughter than tears.

No, we neither went out, nor had a snooze; I got stuck into the ironing in front of a pre-recorded TV programme while OH did a bit of DIY. PC came round to return some tools after which it was time to start dinner!

The neighbour and her daughter came round to thank us for the flowers and card – the daughter was dropping heavy hints to her mum that she ought to allow us to take her to her own hospital appointment next week. Although the neighbour is capable of getting herself there, there is the suggestion that she may need support if her check-up isn’t as ‘clear’ as is hoped. Daughter now has our phone number (even though she thought she remembered it from donkey’s years ago) in case she thinks that Mum needs a hand with moving heavy things or small DIY jobs.

Hope the rain didn’t curtail the Rainbows outdoor activities LG, and that it is dry for this evening.

Morning Maz - Men, eh?? :-D

Have you thought of a white board hung in the kitchen? Now that OH is at home all the time and helps with the cooking, we find it useful to jot down items we've used/run out of. At the moment it only has Potatoes and Cucumber - hardly worth going shopping yet :-D
