Evening everyone.

I have just about melted today!! Sat outside for 30 mins about 2pm having a late lunch and spent the next hour mopping up the perspiration :-D :-D :-D

I am so glad to be home and in a cool lounge. No sitting in the garden for me until it's cooler :-D :-D

Well done on handing over the money, CT!!! I'm proud of you :-D :-D Three more full weeks for me to work, then watch me run out of there!!

I have to go for another eye injection on 31st July, so not good. I'm dreading it :-( :-( At least it is one day less to work before the holidays, as I will be off the following day, only having to go back in on the Friday to tie up loose ends.

We have aircon in the office, Maz, it's just not very effective!!

I'm just pondering over whether to finish a bit of edging on one of the borders, or to leave it until tomorrow evening, as it is going to be cooler here tomorrow.

It must be so irritating having to work when others are sunning themselves. At least it will be cooler for the next day or so.

A young lady knocked at the door asking if I would witness her signature. The piece of paper she was flapping had ‘Land Registry’ as the logo.
“Who are you?” quoth I
“I’m X” she said.
Of course she was and lives round the corner. She used to play with ours years ago and we wave if we see the family as we drive passed. Talk about feeling a fool!

Thank you all for your commiserations – it’s good to know I’m not alone! There have been so many instances when I’ve got confused or thought OH was talking about something else, I’m wondering if I need to talk to the doctors. Most of the time its probably down to lack of concentration.

Although it’s supposed to be cooler today, its likely to still be warm weather gear. They can all go into the wash tomorrow when it will be back to ‘normal’ ready for the weekend.

CT – are you another one who gets up at the crack of dawn? When Maz pops up at the same sort of time, at least you’ll have someone to chat to!

After the shopping today, we really must get stuck into the household paper work…..including the tax returns. Deep joy.

I am up been up since 7 lsh however the motivation was not there but as its lovely in the garden overcast but still warm i am having a go at the borders .I have cleared the weeds from the paving slabs that the ex put down badly hence the weeds .
and now i am tackling all teh overgrown flowerless plants Perennials .giving them all a good haircut .so the wheelie bin is over half full again but it proves i do stuff lol .

Well done in the garden, Maz :-) :-) It is very overcast here today, but still warm, so would be an ideal evening to get out there and finish the weeding, but I can't be bothered tonight (or any other night, come to think of it!!) :-D :-D

well i have done the grass ,cut some shrubs back too there is more to do but the wheelie bin is full and that is good excuse lol the sun has been out for about four hours here it has been a lovely day though

I am sat watching TV and doing admin it is a lovely evening Froggy is at work fixing some technology that will run in to tomorrow so will not see him til later on in day

The clouds are lifting and there are some blue patches up there!! Tomorrow is going to be better and on Friday I will be melting in the temperatures!! :-D :-D

Evening one and all. Papers have shuffled around a bit ;-) :-D :-D. Been to a Teddy Bears picnic with the Brownies a great time was had by all :-D

Are you carrying on with the Brownies? Is it just Rainbows that you have given up?

HI YG I am giving both up it will be the last two meetings next week. I have promised the girls I will not complain if they get me soaking wet :-D. It is a water party complete with guns and water bombs

I now know who to chat to first thing in the morning, it used to be me and YG who were the early birds, I didn't realise that Maz will be up early doors. I haven't worked out why I wake up at 04.20 most mornings, some mornings about 5 minutes either side of that time. It's not the birds waking me up, because in winter I used to wake them up when I put the outside light on! (whatever time it is I get up that is the cue for the dogs' routine of going outside in the garden then breakfast)

What are you going to do with your time LG when you are not involved in Brownies and Rainbows? If you ever get bored I could do with some help on my 'brick wall'! ;-)
