I'll give you hand if I can CT. I am now Hon.Archivist with our local History Society so that keeps me out of mischief a little. I will certainly be doing more on the tree so anything you want me to take a look at just ask.
I have at the moment got a Parish records book from the Archive trying to track down OH's GGGGGrandad

I would love to volunteer to do a similar thing at my local history society-I would probably have to join it first! My Mum's friend has published several books about the history of our town, I saw her quite recently at the library. I really need to spend some time with her to have a chat / record her memories of my late Mum and their childhoods.

There may be a couple of records I need, just to confirm something - I only have a standard membership of A*****y. As to my 'brick wall' I have never posted on this site's F.A. as I don't want members to waste time searching records when I would just like a chat about my assumptions before going any further.

We're accompanying our newly widowed neighbour to a hospital check up. Her daugher wants her hand held as the hospital holds bad memories and she is still raw. She has to walk past the ward where her husband died. :-0

its warming up again here just been out to lunch with froggy so now hiding up as its quite warm again

Pretty awful, as every day is at the moment :-( :-(

We are all, including our line manager, on our knees. She has just done a review to put to the senior management team and told them we need 2.2 more people on our team to cope with the workload as it is now, and there is more to come :-( :-(

I am feeling pretty fed up at the moment, but hey ho, tomorrow is another day :-)

Mmm and it's going to be good weather again :-) :-) I hope it's like this when I am off for a fortnight. It will be good. I might even take a trip to the coast :-)

I wonder if the weather will hold as we are away at the same time . The weekend looks as though it will be very warm.

I don't think it will stay like this for the next few weeks, but I don't mind a break in the weather before the holiday starts!! :-D :-D

I don't mind either as I cannot stand hot weather.

Tomorrow is going to be 82degs here. I am going to be a grumpy old woman at work :-D :-D

Hello - sounds as if every one is rather busy today. OH has gone to 'work' but will be back shortly. Unless he has other plans, we really must tackle the tax stuff and get that off to the accountant. :-(
