Just waiting for rubbish bin to be emptied, then I can start filling it again! Usually most of what I put out is for recycling, but it's full of 'stuff' from Dad's house. He used to be a domestic service engineer, and over the years accumulated all sorts of parts for washing machines, fridges etc. Did I tell you that I found a small plastic tub with possibly an ancestor's ashes in? Have kept them for now.

I thought eRRol would be due for a new outfit. Surely now is the time for sunglasses and swimming cozzie - and perhaps a drink with ice and a slice ;-)

Morning CT. I am keeping out of the sun. Working at the lappy in the hallway with back and front doors open Ah Bliss :-D :-D. Doing loads of paperwork as usual.
I think I will be cool later as I have given the Rainbows permission to soak me through at their end of term water party tonight :-D :-D. This is the last time they will get the chance to have there revenge on me as I retire from them today. Same again tomorrow at the Brownies wet Party. Just wondering what I have let myself in for. :-0

I am pottering around here today got all washing out most is dry so jsut waiting for that lot now .A is out at the Light water valley theme park today .so will come back with freebies to go again with friends

I could lease a small section of the pasture to Woger Wabbit for a modest sum and some savoury dips.

I may just change into something lighter later.

I think Archibald the Armadillo may be a good one for me

Late to bed, sound asleep (or thought I was!) and heard a knocking noise at 1am. Thought it was fur thumping the carpet with his paw whilst scratching and pondered about it for a couple of minutes. I decided to get up and investigate. Looked out of the bedroom window and a policeman was stood there. He had been knocking at the front door to tell me that I had left the lounge window open at one side. He scared the living daylights out of me because I thought my son had been involved in a car accident! But was I sensible enough to open the bedroom window to talk to him???? No, I unlocked the front door :-0 :-0 :-0 As luck had it he was genuine, but I could have though that all my birthdays had come at once :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

YG that was a scare I dont always come too when i am woken up at night i think i am dreaming we do have a intercom and cctv though

I don't come round properly either, Maz. I couldn't sleep when I went back to bed as my heart was working overtime and I was so hot. I have survived on about 3 hours sleep last night and a really hectic day today, so I think it will be an early night for me tonight :-D :-D :-D

its going to be warm again tonight i think so we have to grab sleep when we can i think

The sheep around here are getting an exra go at the sheep dip doubt if its as nice as a salsa dip or onion and chive one though do you ?

Good morning Maz, I am just trying to get the motivation to make a start around here. It was so hot last night that we had very little sleep. Guess who will be a very \Mrs Grumpy later ;-) ;-)

Hope you slept better last night YG, after your fright the previous. It does raise something I hadn't appreciated....the danger/inability of leaving windows open if your home is on the ground/one floor. Perhaps we'll re-think our future plans to downsize to a bungalow!!!

Mother in law is refusing to open her balcony doors. The reason? Any breeze blows the net curtains which makes them dirty. What will we do with them, eh?

Intercom AND CCTV Maz? Hmm. I hope that the trouble that must have caused the installation is no more.

cRRystalTips - do you have any good neighbours who won't mind you filling their bins shortly before collection??? We let ours use our garden waste one if there is space.
