Evening everyone.

Whoops, DET is not a happy bunny :-( :-( :-( Sack them, that's what I say!! Either the accountants or the HMRC!! Not really fussed which!! You can sack both if you like. I would love to be rid of that nasty tax man :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

We have lovely weather here all day, although it started to cloud over this morning not long after I hung out the first load of washing!! It passed over so everything is washed and dried. Yet another basked of ironing :-D :-D

I have a huge hydrangea bush in the front garden that has always had pink flower heads. This year it has opened with blue ones, that are now turning purple, then pink. As I haven't used any different fertiliser or compost i am putting it down to all the rain last summer. Perhaps it was 'acid' rain :-D

Evening - we'd all love to sack HMRC. It's always the small, honest taxpayer who get clobbered. :-|

YG - Good to hear that you got your laundry dry - I had to rescue the few bits that were out when we had a brief shower and thunder. The rain has settled in now for the foreseeable!

You'll have to look up about the Hydrangeas and see if there is a way to turn them back! I think ours are pink before they turn green and die :-0

YG Report 27 Jul 2013 20:04

I actually like the blue and purple for a change, DET. I am just curious as to how it has changed on it's own without any help from me!! :-D :-D

No rain yet, but I am sure it is on it's way. The garden will breathe a sigh of relief :-D

LaGooner Report 27 Jul 2013 20:40

LaGooner

Evening LG. It started raining here about half an hour ago. Not particularly heavy yet, but I think it is due overnight.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 27 Jul 2013 22:09

It is pouring down here. Still bloomin muggy though and we have the fan on full blast much to the cat's delight. We have 2 of them laid out in front of it and one on the chair where the air flow is not quite so strong :-D. The other one has just gone out through the flap as I don't think he could hang on to ablute for any much longer ;-)

YG

YG Report 27 Jul 2013 22:25

It looks as though there is plenty more to come on Tuesday as well. The garden is desperate, but if it comes down too heavy it will flood in the borders. A nice steady spell of rain would be better!!
