Morning Maz. Football season? All the more reason to hide!!!!

OH has signed up for a new free if you have BT Broadband TV sports channel as apparently that will be showing the RFU games amongst other things. Apparently they start in a couple of weeks as well. Although it will keep him occupied, I'll get cross if any match clashes with something else.

Long, loud groan from me for the start of the footie season. At least I don't have to put up with the monotonous drone of the commentors' voices as I can watch something else, if there is anything worth watching. Other than that, I will hide in my kindle :-D :-D :-D

We are preparing to pounce when Her Maj returns and then off to hide :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I really must get motivated this weekend as it back to the grind on Monday. :-( :-( The ironing has to be tackled, come what may!! Am off now to do the food shopping.

I'm ready to pounce, then quickly go back into hiding! :-D

I've spent all morning looking at holidays, OH has booked some time off work late September, he's been working 6 days a week since July and needs a break. So far I've only come up with an apartment we've been to before, but I don't mind that really. I want: somewhere warm, less than 1 hour transfer from airport, def not an 18-30 place, somewhere to relax as well as interesting places to visit, and somewhere other than Egypt

We need to trim up this thread in anticipation of Her Maj's return. Can you draw any flags or balloons CT??

Menorca is said to be quiet with no lager louts and 18-30s. Still warm at this time of year. In fact, I could quite do with a visit myself!!

Been thinking about Gran Canaria YG, also Rhodes where we spent our honeymoon (near the old part of Rhodes Town) Twenty six years ago I spent 20 minutes in Faliraki whilst on a tour of the island on motorbike we hired. Even back then it was dire :-(

Just getting creative with the rest of the decorations ready for the return of Her Maj, it's choice of music to put on the boom-box I'm undecided about :-S

A nice eclectic mix of music that can be appreciated by everyone, with a bit of Bon Jovi and Madness thrown in for some noise :-D :-D

And an archery target poster for her to do her head banging :-D :-D

Personally, I'd be up for a bit of Latino, I like to have a dance - salsa, merengue ...

I've knitted a new coat each for LG's pets and stuffed them with food so that they can't move. They make lovely draught excluders in the throne room :-D :-D

We sure are, just catching up with the washing etc.

It's good to be home although the 2 cottages we stayed in were wonderful. It was so quiet in both places you could hear a pin drop.
