That ragged old throne doesn't look very good in here now it has all been freshly redecorated. About time it had some new matching covers made (but without the glitter, as it could be a bit scratchy for the nether regions!!!)

I see Cuddles & Huddles are still stuffed to the brim. That will keep them quiet for some time yet. :-D :-D

I am pacing myself today, DET.

I dread going back for several reasons, but one in particular is that one of my line managers has just accepted a different role and will be taking that up at the beginning of September. I don't know whether they have started recruiting yet to replace her and life is going to be very difficult until that happens. The one consolation is that she will still be around in the office, so if I am stuck with anything I can at least go and ask for an answer :-( :-(

The sun is shining and it is a lovely day here again with a good week promised weather wise.

I don't think my fur will be too happy tomorrow when he is on his own again. He has spent plenty of time out in the garden and is just getting used to it :-D :-D

I have been a really good girl today and caught up on the outstanding unmentionables. The ironing basket is almost empty and I have edged the front lawn to finish off the shape that I was making :-D :-D My eye candy is coming tomorrow to weed and cut the grass at the front. What a shame I won't be in :-D :-D :-D

You are not the only one!! Not last night, but I have fallen asleep many nights whilst I've been off and in the afternoon as well. I have been totally idle.

We have been far from idle, we must have walked miles :-D

Good for you!! When it's lovely scenery it is worthwhile and very enjoyable.

The gp has told me to start doing more walking, so while the weather holds up it looks as though lunch times might be taken up walking round the lake near the office :-D :-D That's as good as it's going to get at the moment :-D :-D

Well that will be very pleasant YG and good for your health. I did have to resort to using my stick towards the end of the two weeks. I usually only use it about the house and garden on a really bad day :-|

There's nothing to be ashamed of there, LG. I think you did really well to hold out till almost the end of the holiday considering the amount of walking you did.

You deserve to rest it up a bit now.

They were unbearable :-D. Settled today as we spent time in the garden chalking on the path and blowing bubbles to name but 2 of our mad moments ;-). I forgot all about my flagon of scrumpie until my son turned up and we had a glass or so :-D :-D :-D :-D
