Evening DET. Pleased to hear you have had a good day, even though OH wouldn't wander further!!! I'm sure your feet and legs must have been aching at the end of it all :-D :-D London streets always seem to drain the energy out of mine!! :-D :-D

R has sent me a text and will be available. He is going to call me tomorrow evening to let me know whether it will be Saturday or Sunday. I just have my fingers crossed now that these people come to collect the wardrobes. I have sent him a text and he says he will let me know tomorrow when they are coming. I really need them out of the way to store some of the boxes!!

Although I am pleased that they are starting the work, I am a little miffed that they have only just decided to bring it forward a week. It's a good job that I started packing early, otherwise I wouldn't have got it done in time and there is still no sign of any boxes from them!! :-(

Good to know that R will be able to make it in time - with the type of relationship you have with his OH, one did wonder if he'd be found something else to do!

Feet and legs OK. It's me back more than anything else! Slow walking is more tiring than our regular pace. 2.8 miles, but not all in one go - I took my pedometer :-D

morning all on sleep over today so back to work after a while off I am on a training course tomorrow so i hope i get some sleep tonight I will also have a lot to catch up on too as i have had 12 dys off lots of notes to read up on

Morning all - is it really 12 days that you've had off? It doesn't seem that long! If you start to nod off during the training course, no one can really blame you. That was really bad timing.

Even though the leaves haven't started to change colour, the autumn temperatures are here; we put the light weight quilt back on the bed 2 nights ago to replace the sheet and cover, and turned on the gas fire in the living room yesterday evening. :-0

Morning all, we have done the same DET. Very damp feeling in the air this morning and grey sky. Well at least it is not raining thank goodness as I now have to go out on a bit of business for OH. Catch you later <3

Evening all.

It's been raining for most of the day here. Not nice at all. I put the heating on two days ago, but British Gas are offering me a refund, so I can be a little bit generous!!

Done another hour and half's packing - started as soon as I walked in the door, so I am going to sit for the rest of the evening. Almost there, just bits and pieces and then sort out storage of the boxes when the wardrobes have gone this weekend. I also need to take up the carpet tiles in the bathroom and kitchen and remove the slats from the bathroom blinds, so that is Saturday and Sunday booked up :-( :-(

I hope you rested last night DET and are fully recovered from your day out.

Evening YG. My word what a busy lady you are. I had great plans to do a lot with little one at her pre school but a friend phoned and we nattered for over an hour

Hope the littlie is settling in well at pre-school. Don't they grow up quickly. We need to make the most of them whilst they are little!!

R & M are still having problems with teenage moods and tantrums!! I've told him to hold on just for another three or four years!!! :-D :-D

Or more ;-). I have a 26 year old who still has them :-| :-| :-| :-|.

Littlest is a bit miffed as she only goes half days and she has been used to going all day :-D

Is it just half days for a week or two or for the full year? I don't quite understand why she has had to change if she has been going all day previously. Is it a different school?

She was at a private nursery before but now H does not work she cannot afford the fees. Also it was a bit of a distance to travel which was ok when H worked and A went to school in the same town. H now is a college and takes herself on the train and A has moved to a nearer school. It is a lot easier for me :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Oh, right, I understand now, LG. I'm sure littlie will soon get used to it. You are looking after her more now though, I imagine, if she is home every afternoon! Well, that's what Nana's are for :-D :-D

I only have her 4 half days as H is off one whole day and she is usually home about 4 pm.

Isn't that enough!! I bet you can make enough mess between you :-D :-D

No I am recording it to watch in peace as OH has no interest in it what so ever :-D. I have all the new series to watch yet but tonights is probably good she is one of my favourite comediens

It is good to see her talking 'normally' in serious conversation, instead of cracking jokes. She is really very pleasant.
