Evening everyone.

Just a quick hello before bedtime!

I've been busy putting things in cupboards! (Well, as far as I can go at the moment, anyway) Still things to do in there, but at least I have been able to put the food away :-D

Poor little lawnmower, banished to the dump it site :-( :-(

Well done, Maz, for having an easy day. Sounds as though it was a good one :-)

LG, the gardening can be done some other time. It won't hurt to wait for a few days until you are feeling much better.

Morning all -

We can't do any more gardening until the waste bin has been emptied in 10 days time. It's full of grass clippings! The alternative would be bags of rotting debris to take to the dump.

Well done YG at being able to make room for living again. Such a relief for you :-)

Give yourself a treat after the Dentist Maz - you may not be able to eat or drink, but you could have a quiet browse of your favourite shops ;-)

all done back am a bit tender but the crown feels a good fit ,
we have to pay next year for our garden wheelie bin collections it seems so I think a lot of folk wont bother with them any more

Evening everyone.

I was a really good girl when I got in from work and started to do lots more unpacking for the kitchen cupboards. Finished at 7.30, nipped to the shop for a fresh loaf to make some scrambled egg on toast. The toast was done, went to cooker to do the eggs and no gas!!!! I have spent a frantic hour and a half trying to sort it and poor R had to call in on his way home from Epsom after a long drive. The workmen had forgotten to reconnect the pipe :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Ouch, Maz!! Dentist!! Ooooh no!! Not only for a sore mouth, but a hole in the pocket as well :-D :-D

LG, are you feeling much brighter today. I hope so :-) :-)

DET, a good excuse to not do any more gardening :-D :-D I like your style :-D

HI YG, yes I am feeling a little better but still only a squeak of a voice :-0. It's peaceful for this lot though ;-). I feel really tired though not as bad as yesterday when I slept nearly all evening then went to bed early and slept right through until this morning.

Oh dear silly workman fancy not checking the gas pipe :-0

YG Report 27 Sep 2013 22:25

Hi LG. I'm pleased to hear that you are a little better. My colleague is off with a cold and loss of voice. Is something going around, because if it is, I am staying clear :-( :-( Off for my flu jab on Wednesday, so hopefully that will keep everything at bay :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 27 Sep 2013 22:30

I know quite a few folk who have got it too. I have not had a runny nose, only sore throat,no voice and a bit of a cough

YG

YG Report 27 Sep 2013 22:53

I haven't had a cold since starting with the flu jabs last year, so I hope it will be the same again!! That is the last thing I need at the moment :-D :-D

I'm retiring for the night now and hopefully going to have a bit of a lie-in tomorrow morning. No-one coming, no appointments to go to, just me, a cuppa and my kindle :-D :-D

Hope you get a good night's sleep, LG and that the cough isn't too troublesome.

Catch you tomorrow at some point, probably over brekkie :-D :-D

Sleep well <3 <3

YG Report 28 Sep 2013 09:34

LG, just because you haven't got any voice at the moment, doesn't mean you have to bang the saucepan lids! I am up and awake!!

I did get a bit of a lie-in, but didn't go back to bed with a cuppa. I have been a busy girl and am just sitting having brekkie before going for a bath! :-D :-D

How are you feeling this morning?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 28 Sep 2013 09:37

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 28 Sep 2013 09:56

Morning all –

Sorry to hear that you are still suffering LG. I had missed the ‘lost voice’ bit. Pity that the mini gooners are playing you up. Where’s their mum??

Maz – your underlying cause for the dentist visits sounds nasty. Mind you, in a number of years time they might decide to turn you into a bionic woman….as long as replacement doesn’t set off security scanners if you ever travel abroad.

How daft that the workman forgot to reconnect the gas. Could they have been waiting for someone ‘qualified’?

Some of today will be spent prepping for tomorrows annual ‘Cousins’ lunch. We had asked another couple – one is working but her sister hasn’t replied. Never mind. At least it’s easy to stretch from 4 to 5. The place is still relatively clean and tidy from last weeks deep clean.

YG

YG Report 28 Sep 2013 10:15

Morning DET.

If your place is still clean and you want to 'keep your hand in', do feel free to clean here :-D :-D :-D

Sounds as though you are going to be busy today. Have you got something nice for the lunch tomorrow. We might have to decide whether to visit you or Maz, depending what roast is on the menu tomorrow :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I'm off to hang out the first load of washing and then a bath for me.

Catch you later.

Enjoy the day everyone :-) :-)

YG - someone elses mess is always more interesting than your own ;-)

We've gone brain dead when it comes to the menu so have fallen back on old favourites. Mousaka (can't spell) with a green salad followed by Peach Creme Brulee. :-D

Mum is here it is just that are following me around like sheep :-D :-D :-D :-D. Not being naughty just being littlies ;-). Taking them off out in a while so that should work. Then I will have them at bedtime as Mummy will be working this evening.

Catch you all later have a good day. <3
