YG Report 3 Oct 2013 19:24

:-D :-D LG!! We will have to get you a part in the unmentionable season's pantomime :-D :-D

No, Maz, I haven't seen them yet. It should be the sign off tomorrow, but whether I will just see the liaison officer and/or the foreman I don't know.

Put it this way, I won't be signing anything off until we have had words :-( :-(

YG

YG Report 3 Oct 2013 19:47

I will! Don't know whether it will get me anywhere, but am past caring tonight!!

I think I have had a reaction to the flu jab that I had yesterday and I have felt awful all day. I am just going to have some tea, then I am off to bed. I was fine last year, but perhaps as I am a bit run down it has 'grabbed' me this time :-( :-(

Oh dear YG. My late MIL always felt ill after hers so in the end she refused to have them. Snuggle under the duvet and hopefully you will feel better tomorrow

YG

YG Report 3 Oct 2013 19:58

Yes, I'm sure i will, LG. I was freezing cold when I got in from work, but am starting to warm up a little.

I still have to go for the pneumonia jab yet. They had run out, so sometime in the next two weeks. I haven't had that one before.

Good to see you back CT - such a shame that your holiday was marred by the lurgy, and having your car rummaged through.

Poor YG - you are going through it what with one thing and another. Hope you've taken lots of photos of the 'things that have gone wrong'. OH won't volunteer for the flu jab although they'll probably stick him at his next check-up, and PC even though she is considered 'front line' staff refuses it as well.

Well done diy-frog :-)

A successful shopping trip - the only place we could find what he wanted was M&S!
He kept wanting me to look at handbags - no he's not 'like that' - I think the offspring might have set him a mission!

I'm off to bed now, LG.

Catch you tomorrow hopefully when I will be feeling much brighter :-) :-)

Sleep well <3

You are probably snuggled up snoozing by now YG. Sorry I missed you I was engrossed in watching the Peaky Blinders :-(. I do so hope a good nights sleep will make you feel much better tomorrow. Nite Nite. <3 <3 <3

DET I need a new handbag but can't seem to find one I like :-| :-D :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 3 Oct 2013 22:21

Home you sleep well YG.

Handbags, or anything for that matter. When you don't need or can't afford to buy, you see lots of items you like. But when you have the money in your pocket?? Nadda!

I like looking at bags and in my imagination fancy a bright red leather one. When it boils down to it, the ones I like are more than I'm willing to pay. To be honest, I'm happy with my black winter one and the two summer ones - one beige and the other a navy/royal blue.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Oct 2013 11:55

Phew - it's all go for you two!

OH has been sorting out the computer. Ask.com had hijacked the browser :-| It was the devils own job to get rid of the wretched thing

YG

YG Report 4 Oct 2013 19:19

Evening everyone.

Hope you have a quiet shift tonight, Maz :-)

I slept like a log and the flu'y feeling has gone, so I am feeling much better today.

I have also put in a complaint about the works and they are coming to see me on Monday lunchtime. Watch this space :-( :-(

Handbags >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I love them!! I have just had to part with my old faithful and resorted to using one for work that dil bought me. It is rather big, but I am coping!! I do have a couple more for occasions that were also bought as presents by R & dil, but they are brown and I don't have a lot to go with them at the moment, so will have to wait until the colour is in fashion again :-D :-D

I saw one that I fell in love with in one of the shops on the cruise and I was very tempted, but my conscience wouldn't let me part with the cash! :-D :-D

LaGooner Report 4 Oct 2013 19:26

Evening YG. I am pleased to hear you are feeling better. I am losing my rag with 3 different phone numbers ringing here and then hanging up. I googled the phone numbers and they are all nuisance calls. :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-P :-P :-P. They started 3 days a go so someone must have released some phone number lists again.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Oct 2013 19:46

Evening all -

I know where YG's flue'y symptoms have gone. OH has them! He is currently huddled up with his fleece on and a blanket, cuddling a hot water bottle. In an hour or so, he'll be stripping the layers off again!!

Hope you get somewhere with your complaint. By their standards, have they finished?

Nuisance calls :-0. People talk about phone blocking devices or services, but why should we have to pay? Even if you are on the TPS some UK ones still call, and it doesn't cover overseas call centres. Sometimes we get them when various insurances are due for renewal as he put the phone no. in the on line comparison site form.
