Morning all –

Sorry to hear of the various telephone/internet problems. Our internet connection has been running a bit slow, but I’m still trying to work out if it’s our computer, the site(s), or the line! BT always tries to initially pass the buck, don’t they? If CT is still job hunting, it must have clipped your wings.

I wonder how many other elderly people have had their ‘Life line’ cut off and don’t have relatives to chase BT? Doesn’t the break in service trigger a response at the Lifeline call centre? I know it did when my dad’s power went off.

It’s quite chilly today – I’m not entirely sure if the heating went on this morning. We had the boiler serviced at the beginning of the week. He may have turned it off and we hadn’t noticed. :-0

I hope you enjoy N's visit, Maz, even though it might be hard work. Will you be able to get out for a couple of meals to relieve some of the pressure on you, or perhaps Naomi will cook for you!!

Hopefully we are nearing the end. The painters have been in again today so that is now done. Just some trunking to fit and a couple of snags that I want them to address. Not quite sure about the sign off as I haven't heard anything yet about the damp in the kitchen, the leaks and the bathroom cupboard doors :-( :-( I am getting a bit fed up of boxes everywhere, but hope to get straight when I am on leave the week after next.

I don't even know what to have for my tea. An ex colleague was supposed to be dropping in for an hour but she had to cancel, so I am just pondering on tonight's menu!! Probably a bacon butty :-D :-D

I only had a sandwich as I had a cooked meal at lunchtime. A bacon butty sounds good but I have now eaten already :-| :-| :-| :-| :-D.

evening all N ison her way ,but i am going to bed as I am on call if i am needed i will be rung on my work fone and a taxi will collect me .however our only male member of staff is on tonight and he is usually the calmer so hopefully i wont be needed .

Last shift for about ten days, N arrived at midnight said roads were clear .seems happy has lost three stone in weight .its a shame i am at work today would love to spend some time with her .may offer a cuppa before i start work today

DET, the cupboard doors definitely weren't supposed to be painted and are now under an official complaint. Waiting for the outcome :-( :-( Still not finished, so going to be running into next week. I haven't heard anything yet about the damp patch, so goodness knows how much longer it is going to take to sign it off. :-( :-(

evening ,all beds and floors are filled here N is here for a meal with A plus GF and their dad to introduce GF to dad ,N has just come up for the weekendand lives in Stoke .we are all at the church meal tomorrow so will catch up with them there .just got the washing organised Froggy arrives tomorrow afternoon for two nights prior to going south on monday .
I do love the house full but also enjoying some time while they are out too
