Morning all

LG - Glad you had an enjoyable few days away. Is OH practising for the next wedding you attend ;-)

We haven't got a launderette within 7 miles either, David, although we are occasionally leafleted about ironing services.

The new washing machine is arriving sometime between 4.20 & 6.20. I'm saving mine up until then.

My launderette collects washes drys returns all the way from Blyth, 14 miles away.

I was a regular customer of theirs for years prior to my injury. But it's not only good

of them, it must also be profitable <3

The next wedding will probably be about 3 years time DET so plenty of time :-D :-D :-D.
Mini Gooner looked stunning in her communion outfit I am just going to download my photos and there were also official ones taken so we will just have to have those.

I always do my own laundry as I am allergic to most washing and conditioning products and won't risk a nasty reaction David :-D

Oh Maz. You must be shattered. Can you fit in a snooze this afternoon?

LG - another wedding is something to look forward to, even if it is likely to be in 3 years time!!

There used to be a laundry in town that would collect, wash & iron, then return. That closed something like 10 years ago. Other than that, Morrisons have a serviced wash in their store, or you have to take items to the dry cleaners & they send them away.

I used to use a launderette much nearer home in Newcastle but stopped

using them when Ellen said they'd pinched her cushion covers. I made the

person in the shop check, didn't like what I was hearing. Never went back. :-|

AnninGlos Report 18 Jun 2018 20:21

We are home, unpacked and two loads of washing done and dried. Shattered now, stayed at the Hilton at Manchester airport last night and drove down this morning. Garden was a real jungle we used to go away for a month every May and September and it was never as bad as it was this time. OH worked on it all afternoon and it looks great now, just needed cutting back everywhere.

YG

YG Report 18 Jun 2018 21:24

I'm back, worn out and the nerves totally shredded. Would someone remind me not to to with V again :-D :-D :-D :-D

Welcome back, Ann. Holidays are always hard work when you get home catching up on everything. Hopefully you have come back to some reasonable weather.

Maz, I bet you are thrilled with your windows and you will notice a difference in the reduced noise levels coming through.
