Welcome home Ann. Did you have a good time? Did you manage not to fall out with your daughter? ;-) Your washing machine must be working overtime now!

YG, what on Earth was so urgent that V needed to go to Meadow Hall on a week day? It’s nice to know that Granny still has some uses :-D

The washing machine was installed quickly late yesterday afternoon. We’ve been playing with it & have probably worked out the 2 main programmes we’ll use. It does, as the reviews suggest, vibrate on its final spin, but no more than the old one did.

Maz, glad to hear your windows will soon be finished. Were you able to catch up on your sleep yesterday?


We’ve no plans for today. How about anyone else?

afternoon all well all is almost completed so There is one glass unit to be repaced as it came cracked .However they are just waiting for it now so I am expecting them back shortly to do that .
meeting was good so I now have the remainder of the day to get some dusting done they have cleaned up very well its just dusty .which is not important really lol and normal really for me .

Hopefully by now you’ll have all new/repaired windows. You won’t know what to do with yourself!

We’ve been out to Ann’s (not) favourite B&Q. With plumbing & flooring supplies, it looks as if the upstairs loo redecoration is one step closer. It’s only taken 8 years!

We dropped into the local pub for a coffee & popped into the farm shop. It’ll be stuffed mushrooms, new potatoes & leeks for tea tonight. OH said he only wanted to go in there for chocolate macaroons, not healthy veg & stuff :-D

I used to enjoy taking Ellen out and about from town to town.

Locally in Raby Street Byker I'd take her for a meal at the Ritz cafe.

Large plate of Yorkshires and vegetables followed by a pudding upstairs

at a table near the window. She loved it. Haven't been for more than 6 years.

The Ritz is still there but it changed hands and is owned by Pakistanis.

Same food, but somehow it's changed.

I am really pleased with my windows and door its much warmer and quieter ,
I have put two sets of curtains up hoovered and dusted the main areas ,that is it I am shattered and its lunch tomorrow so need to make sure I am organised .
It is not very warm on Bishop it was gorgeous in Richmond today its also raining so grass getting cut today either .I will split the chores up over my next days home from sleeps as I have three sleeps on the bounce.

Enough is enough for today, Maz. You have some heavy shifts coming up so will need your energy for them. I hope they are quieter than the last one :-0 :-0

That headache I slept it off. Financial worries caused it :-S

Most nites you need the engine running YG .that is why I love my job most of the time .

I have taken it upon myself to index our late presidents folders full of various information. I have done 16 out of 24 so far.

I am doing a lot less now YG I am just pottering through them when I am in the mood :-D :-D. At the belfry I am mostly checking that inventory entries are correct and drinking coffee ;-) :-D
