Cheek :-| :-D :-D :-D. I had a bit of a headache so kept off until it stopped. Damn hayfever is awful today and I had a nosebleed because of it.
How are you enjoying the fur visitor

AnninGlos Report 23 Jun 2018 21:38

It said yesterday that hay fever would be bad today and tomorrow LG so best stay out of the garden if you can.

YG the trouble is once the hospital discharge you, you have to be referred again rather than just going back to them. That happened with my BCC last time.

Had a lovely day today, OH decided with no prompting that we would go somewhere as it is the 62nd anniversary of when we started going together. We went to Evesham Country park and outlet centre. It was very warm and sunny. And we found a shop there we didn’t know existed. A very large independent craft shop so had to have a spend in there. Then had a look round other shops, lunch in the garden centre and bought a couple of plants and a top reduced to half price, this is a Blue Diamond the same as the Newent garden centre near us. Looked in Klass and Roman but couldn’t see anything else I wanted. Then this evening we had a bottle of Cava sitting out until 7pm. It was really nice and a bit special because it was OH who instigated it including the Cava. Normally it is me who suggests these things.

I heard that so I took an antihistamine and only went shopping but I still felt rough :-|.

I do hope it will not be a whole course of injections YG <3

YG Report 23 Jun 2018 21:42

I am having great trouble typing, as she is laid out on the sofa with her head tucked up by my arm and her head resting on the edge of the laptop. Every time I stop stroking her, the paw comes up and drags my arm back :-D :-D :-D :-D

LaGooner Report 23 Jun 2018 21:45

Aw bless, I have a moggie stretched full out beside me at the moment and he is snoring loudly, very distracting

YG

YG Report 23 Jun 2018 21:53

Aah, she doesn't snore (I don't think, but I'll find out at bedtime :-D)

Ann. how lovely of your OH to do that for you. What a special treat and for him also to remember the date that you started going out together :-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Jun 2018 21:57

That was a nice surprise Ann. I am awful for forgetting things like that but OH is like a Diary and remembers them :-D :-D

The Afghan I had used to whimper and move his legs like he was running while laying on his side fast asleep, stupid creature :-D :-D :-D

YG

YG Report 23 Jun 2018 22:07

Dreaming of all the dogs he was playing with :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D She has settled at the other end of the sofa, but there's still no room for my legs :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Jun 2018 22:10

They usually like a bit of room ;-) :-D :-D. H's little dogs like more space than they need :-D

YG

YG Report 23 Jun 2018 22:23

She is a bit nervous of sudden noise. There have been a couple of quad bikes that have ridden up and down the road a couple of times and they are really noisy, plus one of them backfired. She wasn't a happy bunny :-D :-D

I brought her bed when I picked her up but she won't go in it, so I can guess where she will be sleeping tonight. At home she has a cage with her bed in it and it is 'her home'!! She takes herself off to bed when she has had enough of C, who won't leave her alone when she's tired.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Jun 2018 22:27

Oh bless her some like cages for a bit of security. H's Cilla sleeps in hers but only because she has a duvet in there which she sleeps right inside of like a nest. Of course the cage stops the duvet spreading itself out :-D :-D :-D. Bobbi sleeps on the landing on another duvet but she does not burrow in like Cilla

YG

YG Report 23 Jun 2018 22:46

Poppy likes to burrow. She has a sheepskin bed in her cage and is happy in that, but if she goes up with one of the girls on odd occasions she scrats around like made trying to ruck up the duvet into a heap :-D :-D :-DI

I'm going to make my last drink now and see if we can settle down. I was up at 5.45 this morning, so am rather tired now.

Sleep well, LG and I'll catch you tomorrow :-) <3

Morning all

It sounds as if you had a lovely day out, Ann. Well done to your OH for, if not exactly spontaneously, coming up with an outing that’s ‘different’. Remember when you first started to date is even more impressive!
Although we remember the date we married, and might remember a week before, we usually forget when the day actually arrives. Neither of us have a clue when we first met. If we tried to work it out, we’d probably be a year or so out! Month or date? Haven’t a clue!

YG, did you have a peaceful night, or were you pushed out of bed?

Maz, hope you manage to get some sleep & don’t nod off at church ;-)

LG, sorry to hear you’re suffering from hay fever. J says the grass pollen is worse this year than in the past. It could be the dry weather we’re having.

LaGooner Report 24 Jun 2018 09:36

Morning, I have had a couple of years where it has not been too bad but this year it's been a b****r :-D. This long dry spell and lots of time in the garden is not helping :-D
Anything planned for today :-)

Morning LG.

OH will need to finish off the shed window frames. I’ll probably get the hedge trimmer onto a prickly bush. The neighbour says the trimmings can go in her garden bin. After that, possibly a bit more of the ground elder & ivy? We’ll see.
Although it’s supposed to be OHs turn to cook tonight, he could be too tired. I shall have to think of something instead. If all else fails, there’s always salad!

LaGooner Report 24 Jun 2018 09:55

A day like me then. I have an order to pick up from Homebase then while OH is glued to F1 and Footie I will get outside and get on with a bit more.

Good afternoon all. Det we have always remembered the date we first got together (I was 15 he as 17) but we don't often celebrate it. We always remember our anniversary and usually go somewhere nice even if just locally out for lunch, and we also celebrate our birthdays with a trip out or a meal or a bottle of bubbly something. But we don't 'do' Valentines day. I can also remember the dayw e got engaged but doubt if he can, will have to ask him.

LG my Mum used to suffer from hay fever really badly until she was in her 50s I think. she used to have injections against it. Private blossom was one of the worst things for her.
