AnninGlos Report 26 Jun 2018 20:02

Well we had chicken curry seemed to go down well.

Are you sure you were not dehydrated Det? That could cause light headed ness.

At least you still enjoyed the day.

My ankles swell in the evenings but that is down to my medication.

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 26 Jun 2018 20:15

Dehydration is a major cause ,in this weather we have to follow protocol for heat wave ,i just carry water around with me .

I told LG it was probably Sweet Pea, Maz :-D :-D I had enough of him last week and sent him packing on the broomstick. I didn't set the satnav, so he must have decided he was missing LG and wanted to pay her a visit :-D :-D

I've been and done it now. It was a little chilly out at the back, but seems warmer at the front where the sun stays till late.

The pots are done and I have just made a cuppa and the evening's nearly over again. Goodness knows where the time goes to. I no sooner get home than it's almost bedtime and off I go again in the morning :-0 :-0

Morning all

Our side of the UK is going to be cooler today. They’re predicting a shade temp of 19-20c locally. It’s almost cardigan weather :-D
At the moment they think it’ll go back up to 25 over the weekend.

Apparently MiL spent Sunday night at the hospital with a nose bleed that wouldn’t stop. She’d been sent home with a long list of ‘Don’t ‘ but denies all knowledge of it. Today will be fun!

Maz, are you working today or is it free time? Good luck with your appointment later on. The card will probably turn up when you least expect it :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 27 Jun 2018 16:35

Afternoon all

Visit was OK. She’s remembered some of the Must Not Does, but only when it suits her. She had to be reminded she shouldn’t have Chilli Corne Carne in case it had an effect.
Brought home a pile of ancient paper work. She can’t remember if it was to be filed, shredded or what! It looks as if OH will have to use his POA at another bank. She’s not sure if she has transferred the savings or ‘rolled’ the a/c. Although she said she’d ring them tomorrow, we don’t trust her to remember :-0

YG Report 27 Jun 2018 19:00

Evening everyone :-)

It started off quite cloudy and overcast this morning and a little cool, but the sun burnt it off by late morning and it has been another scorcher.

According to the news, the forecasters are saying there will be another 5 to 8 heatwaves through the summer (assuming they are right :-D :-D)

Oh dear, DET, has your m.i.l. recovered from her nose bleed now? That won't have been pleasant for her :-( More confusion with the bank!! Your OH will be delighted :-0

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 27 Jun 2018 19:47

Maz, you must be so fed up with the appointments, and still no diagnosis <3
Glad the card has turned up safe and sound. Now you have another one, you'll probably forget where you put it this time next year :-D

We don't mind heatwaves as long as we have some rain in between. I dread to think what our water bill will be when its revised next year.
Hope you enjoy your meal with R tomorrow. It'll certainly save you cooking.

Yes, OH has another bank to deal with. Unfortunately he doesn't like arranging appointments etc on the phone. SiL had a minor hissy fit thinking I'd removed all the paperwork. No, only the sheets she's been sitting on since the end of last year.

There was also a CC statement due 5 Dec 2017. MiL was getting worried that it was overdue. In actual fact, SiL had already arranged to pay it off every month via a DD.
And she thinks she has a grip on her finances? We'e already seen a letter showing she's forgotten to renew her contents insurance. She got round to paying it a month later. :-0
