Have you managed a snooze this afternoon LG? Although we slept fairly well, we were up & out just after 8. We could certainly do with one now.

We took A to to county show. Oh boy, was it hot. We watched the Household Cavalry’ Musical Ride, the show jumping horses in their warmup ring (highlight of the day - they did a poo then trod in it!), looked at the sheep, cattle, fowl & rabbits as well as a fire engine, police car and VERY big tractors. :-D
We left after about 5 hours as the temperatures were still rising. You can have too much of a good thing. :-D

Evening all, it sounds as though you had a good day DET. No nap for me I have been on the go all day and done loads of little put off jobs.

I have been to the chiropodist at long last and am walking on air at the moment :-) :-) :-) Just having a quick cuppa, then I need to nip out to the retail park as I want to go to the M&S Food Hall in the hope that they have some marzipan fruits in stock. Been invited to R's again tomorrow as it is m.i.l's birthday, so I will have to watch the match again :-D :-D :-D :-D

Just popped a quiche in the oven that I will have with some salad.

My right foot is hurting now where she has shaved off the sore piece, so it looks as though it is going to take a while, if ever, to sort it out. The rest of the feet are fine :-) :-)

I totally agree. After a day's graft in what is as quiet as a mausoleum at the moment, it is good to let my hair down on here :-) :-) :-) :-) By quiet, I don't mean there's no work, it is just the lack of staff and no one working near me so I have no one to talk to for 8 hours per day :-( :-( :-(
