morning it was a beautiful day i enjoyed watching all the crowds and process i would love to have been in london among it all
just getting my act together here Out to meet froggy later in Durham grabbing some me time and a cuppa before getting ready
forgot to mention my tickets for PB are here so its not long either til we meet

Morning all, just a quick look in as we are helping get the house ready for H and J to move in. We have been given a list of little odd jobs LOL. That should keep me and OH out of mischief this weekend.

Morning all - OH calls me a party pooper, but I do so hate saturation media coverage of any event!

Our policeman are 'wunerful' when it comes to good natured crowds. Donkeys years ago, my parents took me to the Lord Mayor's Show (for AS, an annual Parade in the City of London to celebrate the incoming Lord Mayor of London with floats, bands etc) Being little, my eye line was at the same height as the barrier, so the one nearest us lifted me over so I was on the street side. I don't think things have changed that much.

The TV news this morning has a clip of a Policeman outside Buckingham Palace acting as a warm up artist before the Balcony appearance - lol

Morning DET. No not very long at all. They only really want the girls room looking pretty as it is sooooo shabby. Going all pretty pink and white . They will be doing other bits themselves when they move in which hopefully will be by next weekend. Odd jobs like curtain poles and blinds will keep OH out of mischief today.

PC's b/f and associated friends are in the process of moving into a new house share this weekend. She has been acting as transport for dump runs, or carting boxes to the new place. They've spotted that one of the windows has a crack across the internal double glazing and another doesn't close properly.

Just hope the Letting Agents can get it fixed. Not sure where the landlord lives - either Australia or Spain. Get muddled between houses for Eldest&co, and the b/f!

Sounds like everybody's on the move or doing up houses.

It's not so bad if you only have to do one room LG, as long as you don't get roped in to do the rest of the house once you get there.

RMS, I've just seen that you found the missing cert. Now I'll have to keep watching the thread to see what it said......... LOL

Are we going to give RMS our clues as to what ailed GGD. No better not, some of the things which spring to mind will get our thread zapped!!

Home from the footy. We won, we won. About time too. Tough game and it looked like we would lose but they fought back.

Been chilling today >>>>>> sort of!! Had hair coloured and been into town to buy pressie, so got that over and done with!

It's lovely here today, but a brisk breeze. I've watered the garden and got a nice spray back lol!!

Had a thoroughly enjoyable day yesterday and a good old 'chin wag'!!

Evening all, have just collapsed in the chair LOL. Half the room is papered and will hopefully finish it tomorrow. No Pauline I am not gettting roped in to doing more only the actual moving in and putting things where they belong. I might be able to get on with my own jobs then LOL.

evening all just got in The local buses stop us staying out late now.so I am just catching up with some chores .so I am relaxing I have a pile of ironing beckoning ,I also want some shelves taken down in the back bedroom so i can strip it down ready to paint or at leas get it tidied up ready as half term is not far away now

Morning cool, wet, breezy here. Winter is trying to push autumn out of the way.

Been adding photos onto the tree. Bit of a struggle with no oldies left to confirm identities however I can recall my mum telling me who was who. And when I think about it, who will argue the point if I get it wrong.

Did anyone do the GR on line survey. Thought I'd take a look. Questions one to seven (or maybe eight) went very well and I managed to give them the benefit of my vast experience. And that was as far as I travelled. Question nine refused to submit and I have no idea about questions after that. I did it twice with the same results, they'll probably think I had a senior's moment.

Sneaking on quickly instead of shutting the computer down....

Aunty, I am sure Maz and LG will make a wonderful job of refurbishing Nut Lodge. It is looking a little grubby now, but I'm not sure that we can trust LG to choose the colours!!

Hmmm worried about LG. Has she defected from the red and white. If I recall the last news I had about them I remember they aren't doing too well. Have they been relegated??

Haven't heard her speak of them since the last train trip past the hallowed halls.

I am having problems with the letter jumping up and down as I type. Not sure if it is the supersonic speed at which I bounce off the keys or if GR are having another of their "funny turns".

Spent the day on my tree. Uploaded lots of photos and done a bit of searching and lurking.

This is not a wonderful invention - a bouncing cursor.

When do you lot go excursioning. Don't give me the exact dates for security purposes. Is it next week or the week after or the distant future.


Off to save OHs tea. I can hear the saucepans rattling on the stove. This means I must have remembered to turn the gas on and things are cooking. Long live take-aways!!

morning all DET this is all the aftermath of the builders every room will need doing now although they are doing the kitchen and bathroom .so some will be complete
when this is all done i will leave it all then for years lol ,I had a lovely day yesterday However it has been ruined by next door yet again i cant take much more I have complained to the owner loads of times .And I have spoken to the tenants themselves .
there must be more i can do
