We've had the sun as well but a very cold wind with it.

We've been out most of the day but when we got back - my sister's granddaughter claimed my laptop......... well I suppose it keeps her quiet.

Evening - hope Smudge didn't object too much being cooped up in the spare room... and that yesterday's paint had dried off enough not to collect dust particles.

We decided to go and visit the neolithic ruin we couldn't get to the other week.

"Shall we take the Satnav?"
"Nah, we know where we are going"

Except..............the access road we were going to use was closed for repairs!!! Sooo...............out comes the road atlas and we wend our way through extremely narrow country lanes. At one point I had to back the car 100 yds to allow some one to pass, hitting the bank several times. Reversing is not my strong point!!

Morning - glad it's not just me then Pauline! OH said look behind you rather than use the mirrors, but I'm physically not able to for that length of time - lol . The amazing thing about our afternoon trip, was that we then went to the local major shopping Mall - 4000 years of human construction within 60 mins.

More prosaically, today's activities could involve a dump run and/or shopping - lol

Evening everyone.

A heavy frost here too this morning Pauline. It's a good job I covered the lettuce with bubble wrap last night!! Spent some considerable time planting them all out in grow bags, so would not have been pleased if I had lost them!!

They keep on about rain for the weekend, and how I wish it would, although it would be preferable if it came tomorrow and Friday!!

Morning all. Moving day today. Blondie finally got the keys and we think everything is coordinated. Oh ha! Fat chance!

RMS if you are about. Go back to your George thread, I have left a few search options for you. Will keep you occupied for a while.

Very cold here, about 8 C. Think I might become a grey nomad and journed northwards during the winter months.

Morning - hope the move went without a hitch. PC's friends are now ensconced in the new place after moving over a few days. They are having to sit on cushions on the floor until they have saved up for chairs - lol. Oh what it is to be young!

Hoped it warmed up a bit down under..........and didn't rain. Nothing worse than moving in the wet. Does she intend to rent for a long time, or just until she finds something else for you to do up?

Local elections today and AV referendum. Wonder what the %age turn out will be? And its the BofE monthly review of interest rates. BM who works in the financial sector has said they will be going up. But he has said that for the last 6 months. Don't think I'll trust him with our savings - lol

Oooo ..... I say! What a surprise (the site format that is, not Maz going out :D ) And we have the time back. Hurray! And it says how long people have been members ( with the current account) That's handy. The site did give me a number of error messages about 11am, so perhaps this is what it is about.

Hi YG - for me, the emoticons are immediately under the reply box you type in. Do you perhaps block ads? Would that have something to do with it?

Love to stay and play but out for an evening meal and have to find the polyfiller ;-) It's an ex-colleagues belated 60th bash. She was recovering from having her appendix out for the original date.
