I'm not tired I just have a headache.
I think it is chocolate withdrawal and naturally the best way to solve it is to eat more chocolate.

I've just done an Ikea construction at Blondie's house. Have you noticed there is always one piece which won't go in properly, one piece which doesn't match the others, you will lose one piece and find it rolling around on the floor, when you start to read the directions they don't make sense, by the time you are half way finished you don't need the directions, the heaviest bit is always the bit that has to be lifted up to be put on top of the others, you will lose your screwdriver and trip over the cordless drill, and just when you are almost finished you work out you should have moved it into its place before now because it is so jolly heavy you now can not move it.

hi well the boa kins may be needed in this area as the locals have caused a power cut or two by nicking metal off the substations . i am having a quick cuppa before getting the rabbit cleaned out and looking for more boxes of stuff in the attic

LOL Maz I'll send some over :-). I am just having a coffee before heading out to the greenhouse to water the plants that have still not been put out !

Hope the headache has cleared up and its not another trip to A&E.

And those twits who stole the copper cable - didn't they think about their own electrocution? Hope yours doesn't take as long to mend as one in our neck of the woods - THREE days for the lucky ones and 2 weeks for the not. Funny thing is that is was in the middle of a deprived area, probably where the toe rags lived. Wouldn't fancy their chances if the neighbours ever found out.

O2 mobile was off air for most of yesterday round here. Again, the copper was nicked.

Been very healthy and walked back from work over the fields. There are cracks in the beaten dirt footpath up to 8cm deep. Not good :O

We got used to life in Zambia without electricity because they were always pinching stuff from the substations and when we had the rainy season we often spent days without water because the deluge would flood the pumping stations! Luckily Steptoe used to bring home big plastic containers that they bought the syrup in for making Coke, Sprite etc, so we always kept them full for emergencies. When the water came back on it was like brown mud!!

You sound as though you have had great fun with your I**a pack Aunty! If I buy some, will you come over and give me a hand please!! I'm ok with screwdrivers but not so sure about the drills!!

we have power though the trains were off earlier as the cables were pinched it is getting serious however the Appleby horse fair is on shortly and we have a lot of visitors passing through the area at the moment . three hours has been the longest for a power cut so far lol

When does Appleby fair start, Maz? There is a family moved in across the road from me who are likely to be visiting! He is a bloomin' nuisance parking his big van right in front of my car and it is right on the corner. It leaves a blind spot for me when I am pulling away in a morning. He has a big 4x4 parked in front of the house, but could pull the van up halfway on the pavement.

I wish they would go up there and stay lol!!
