Poor carrots - they need space! Does seem odd that your are planting them in your Auntumn, rather than spring. Perhaps its too hot for them over the summer!

There is quite a bit of info there but, in summary it will allow you to have the following information from the will.

•full name and last address
•the date of death
•the type of grant issued
•the Registry at which the grant issued and the date of issue
•the value of the estate - in cases where inheritance tax has been paid the exact figures for both the gross and net estate are shown but for excepted estates the net estate figure is shown rounded up to the nearest £1000
The calendars include all grants issued throughout England and Wales.

There is no charge for you to search the calendars yourself. If you need any help, staff will explain how you can do this. If you write into a Registry there is a £5 fee payable.

I emailed Ancestry and asked them how to access more info on wills.

Evening LG - seems those who made the terrible racket first thing this morning have run out of steam - lol

Just lurking for a while waiting for a TV prog, then 'poof' !!

I have been in the garden all afternoon and I am K*******d :D just sitting up in the office doing some research as it is lovely and cool up here.Oh will be out for a while yet so just making the most of some ME time LOL

Oh, we went out for pub lunch with BM, his gf, and PC who was around for a change. Apparently we 'passed' - lol .
Then OH decided to give a large tree a haircut leaving me to clear away the mess. Harrumph. At least we decided that as we need the rain, we should get the garden furniture out of storage. :D

Oh no, I haven't run out of steam!! Still around, but not for too much longer!

We certainly need some rain. I managed to break the tap connector on the hosepipe (after the garden centre had shut of course :-(. Ended up with loads of trips with the watering can. Still it was good exercise LOL
