Hi All including RMS

To clarify, I originally put Maz on my post about George Holland.
Maz was, rightfully so, a little bewildered as she did not have a George H.
I edited Maz's name off the post and put in RMS
RMS is equally bewildered because she does not know how to use the info.
Aunty is not bewildered because she has finally given the info to the correct person, ie RMS

For RMS (and not Maz) somewhere near the bottom of the page there are suggestions as to what you can do with the info. I would email them, give them the name, George Holland, the date of the will etc etc and see what happens.

The rest of you can go back to sleep.

Tell us when you are off to bed YG, just so we know when to turn up the volume :P

Bad luck the hose LG - with no water in butts, I'm having to use that as well. Decided that if we do have a hosepipe ban, at least I can drag it to where I want it, then fill the watering cans for the last couple of paces. :D

AS has popped in - so you haven't been raptured then?? And we aren't asleep, unless YG has nodded off in the meantime, and Maz is......well, lets not go there ;-)

I don't mind carting the watering can to the greenhouse as it is not too far. The nuisance is when I have to water the front garden :P.
Evening Aunty sounds like mass confusion too me LOL

Hey you are all awake. It is so funny hearing about your tribulations with lack of water.

We have been through years of very low rainfall, watering restrictions which were quite severe and strict and now there's water everywhere.

We always picture UK as shrouded in drizzling rain, clouds, wet and green. I suppose Oz is always pictured as "the sunburnt country".

Wonder if the world has tipped upside down recently.

By the way Blondie went on a blind date (afternoon coffee) yesterday. Set up by a workmate. She phoned me and wailed, "I am so depressed. Why does xxxxxxx think I would like to go out with a bloke like that, do I really look that old". Poor dear she spent hours getting ready and choosing the right clothes. Nice bloke, but just not her type was the verdict.

The trials and tribulations of Dating - lol Perhaps Maz should give her some tips! Mind you, she (the blonde one) might regret having a significant other and having to pick dirty unmentionables from the floor!

Actually, just been looking at the Environmental Agency water maps - our heavy snow over winter has compensated for the lack of spring rain. don't know about other parts of the country though, as my county and the Isle of Wight are considered the driest areas in the UK

LaGooner Report 21 May 2011 22:14

Oh I never went on blind dates as my friends had very poor taste in boys, but saying that I ended up marrying a ******** waste of space :-(. This I may add is not my Oh that I have now he is a real sweetie.

I met my OH in the first week at a new job. Took one look at him and thought he was luvvvvverly.

Could have murdered him twice and been out on good behaviour now.

Does the Queen still send certs to those who have been married for a long time?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 21 May 2011 22:26

I have been married to this one 28 years in September. I wonder when I will be parolled LOL.
Don't know about certificates from the Queen. I could send some from the Killer Queen LOl. They would go with a bang :D

Think so - certainly Diamond wedding, possibly Golden - they have an Anniversary Office at Buck House if you wanted to google. Only found out when my Aunt and Uncle had a card. Wish we'd known for the in laws. Even the Colonials can get in on the act AS, through their HC!!

Heavens RMS your parents outdo my efforts by about 11 years. We are "celebrate" (ho ho ho) 49 years of servitude in December this year.

I'm hanging out for the 50th and then I'll expect a gold watch and the parole.

Our weather has turned very nasty. Want some rain??? I'll catapult a couple of storms over for you.

By the way my team almost beat the top team in the comp this afternoon. They were ahead right up until the last fifteen minutes of the game and gave up and the opposition ran over them. Missed by that much!!! So near and yet so far.

Edit. Speaking of Killer Queens. Do you know it is possible to check whether you have killed a thread?? Simple if you look at the last post on the board index it gives you the name of the last person to post on the thread. But then who could be bothered to count!!!
