A PM to RMS please, re Pauline. And personally I wouldn't rate Pauline as "much admired", goodness she hasn't been to the gym for over 12 months.

Doesn't that mean automatic drumming out of the Nut Lodge Fitness Brigade.
Pauline will have to pull up her gym socks.........

Don't bother protesting P. We are talking about you, not too you. Toddle off, put your feet up, have a cuppa, and wait until your mutual admiration society finishes discussing you!!! Shooooo, off you go.

Cold here this morning. As if you didn't already know. OH is running around in winter pyjamas, which means it is very cold. Going into work early so I can leave early and go family history searching. Catch you later.

Oh dear, do you lot get bills. Such a shame. You need to live in a forward thinking country like Australia.

Abolished bills years ago. The government pays for everything.

Weird I think my computer has taken over my brain. Slap! thump! Slap!

OK. I'm awake.

What was it?? Bills, yes let me see. Telephone, water, etc etc......... Not electricity, they have to pay us. Love getting that one, always a minus balance since we had solar electrics installed. Wonder how long that will last.

Think I should have stayed asleep.

Morning - I'm working today as well- the poor souls have to keep doing the same on line test until they finish it or have a breakdown.........so I may get home sometime tonight - lol

AS, Glad to hear you solar panels are working out as in saving you money. Do you think that you will recoup the investment in your lifetime afterall? OH has vaguely looked into it, but says the eleccie company pays less when you feed into the grid, than they charge when you draw on it. It may be good for the environment, but not sure if it makes economic sense in this country.

Oh, I didn't know I was being talked about, my ears weren't even burning.......... must have been whispering.... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I've lost my gym socks, but when I find them - I'll definitely pull them up.

We have a gym at the lodge???

Is that the big room where all the grunts and groans come from? I often wondered what was in there.

Re solar panels. It appears from hearing other people's stories that the success of your solar electricity depends on who you bought it from, when you went into the scheme and how much you paid.

We went into the scheme fairly early with a very reputable supplier. We paid more up front, but what we receive from the power put back into the grid seems to be more than what others who joined recently receive.

We did not look at it from the point of view of "getting our money back in our lifetime". I suppose when you look at it we could have taken the cost and used it to pay off our electricity bills for the next several years.

OH says we will have our money back in about five years. We will probably need to pay out something in the winter months because of the additional use. Also it does add value to the house which will benefit the kids in the long run. One does have concerns about what happens when the majority of the population have solar panels!!! Where will the electricity suppliers find their money to run the company if they have to pay the population for putting power back into the grid.

Morning everyone. Brass monkey weather here this morning. Glad to see you are all well. I am off to work and then to the gym this afternoon. Still waiting for my miraculous thirty year old rejuvenation to occur. Mutter, mutter!!!
