I think the CPs will enjoy a holiday up north. They should be able to sort out Maz's rowdy lot. Very frustrating the authorities can't do something about it.

Sounds like the thermostat has gone on the boiler. Tht is of course if they have a thermostat.

I watch Bridget Jones Diary again last night. Don't need to explain why, do I!!! I haven't seen The King's Speech yet. It is on my round tuit list.

Been emailing 4th cousin once removed and trying to sort out last minute arrangements for the Ancestral Roots visit. London is going to be 10c cooler than where he and his live - hope they have remembered to pack their thermals!

Across the road are having work done on their house AGAIN! 3 vans parked directly opposite our drive which makes it awkward to back the car out. Grr.

Off to work this afternoon so need to get an early lunch.

Weather been reasonable today, just one sharp shower, but lovely the rest of the day. Some more rain forecast overnight.

Bit warmer here this morning, about 11 degrees. Top of 15 and some rain. The mandarins are nearly ready. Some brances are bent over with the weight of the fruit. OH "harvested" my carrots. Strangest looking carrots I ever seen All short, stumpy and curly. He said they were a miniature variety. Tasted alright.

i have a few carrots growing. Lost quite a few, for whatever reason, but I'll hopefully get a couple of meals from them! I have plenty of beetroot, but they are growing at very different rates! Lots of large leaves on some of them but can't feel any beets there yet!!

Miniature variety, or did he want the space to plant something else? ;-)

I'm still waiting for my 'Early' potatoes to flower - they'll be Main Crop at this rate :-0

The carrots were baby ones, according to OH. I still don't understand why they weren't straight. They were a bit "bunched" up in the tub.

Footie team!! Are you kidding!! I hate football! :-(

Now, it may resemble my familys' looks so perhaps I could adopt it as a crest!

Carrots need fine soil, if they are planted in heavy clay soil they can become distorted as they try to grow! I'm growing Early Nantes, which are quite small.

I think my bed is beckoning me now!! Have spent hours staring at a spreadsheet today and my eyes are crossed!!

Maybe, just maybe, I can grab the title tonight. No sign of Her Maj, so I am locking all the doors at Nut Lodge and hanging out Do Not Disturb signs. :-D :-D <3 <3
