Knowing Auntie's luck, she'd turn up in the middle of a thunder storm - lol Monday (the hottest day) we are down at the seaside, thank goodness. And as it is the Thames Estuary, no, we wont be going paddling :-D

Glad you had a good bathday Pauline - have you got anything in mind to spend your loot on?

YG

YG Report 23 Jun 2011 21:49

I thought you had your broomstick locked up in the shed, LG!!! Are you responsible for all this trouble!! ;-)

OH DEAR, Where have I been so much to catch up on. I had to read back two pages.

I missed your return MBEOS, busy trying to persuade the cyber pets to return from oop norf to their compound at nut lodge.
They have wreaked enough havoc across the countryside. I like your colour scheme. Make sure you have your window open when the omelettes start flying around. Oh heavens and if LG gets her broomstick back she does have trouble flying and singing at the same time.

Hi Stan. There are no girls on here. Only a bunch of mature aged, intelligent, hard working, community and family minded women. We live in Nut Lodge surrounded by nessie modo dragons, boakins, Kenny, Sweetpea, and an elephant and a giraffe whose names I have forgotten.

DET. Just as well the catapult is inactive due to YGs temporary loss of knicker elastic. I would be over there giving you a football lesson. The AFL game has two goal posts and two point posts. They are placed at each end of the "oval" in this fashion. point post, goal post, goal post, point post. If the football goes through the two centre goal posts it is a goal which is worth six points. If the ball goes between the outer point post and the goal post it is worth one point. And knowing you will ask, if the ball hits the post it is a point.

Soccer, ugh, yuck!!

Has everyone sorted out the boiler problems. I like the theory of built in obselesence. Anyway with 30 degrees forecast you won't need heating. Or does the boiler provide your hot water as well.

I am now very late for work. Never mind staff training and development day today so I can hide somewhere and pretend to work. Catch you all later.

Oops nearly forgot. Before you decide to trash your tree. Download Legacy (or some other free FH program) and Gedcom your tree into that. Then trash the tree. You will have your old tree safely stored on your computer and you can fix it from there and then Gedcom it back to an online site when it is mended, the tree that is not the online site.

Off like a prawn in the sun!! Yes, sun, that would be nice.

Pauline $(*-*)$ Report 24 Jun 2011 06:55

Yes Maz, we might get a day without rain this year, a bit better planning is needed as far as the weather forecast goes.

Sorry LG, but it wasn't me who let Sweetpea out.......... mind you, I think he was sitting on my shoulder this morning because I dropped the kettle and it was full to the top............ water everywhere. Funnily enough though - the kettle didn't break..... I justs got soaked.

DET, I can't think of anything to spend my money on.................. YET!

Morning all - last session this morning. Hurrah! But there is a broken water main one one of the coach routes, so we may have stragglers turning up late. Ho Hum.

Hope you've dried off Pauline and Maz, and thanks for the education re your favourite sport Aunty. (still say they have 2 goals each end ;-) )

(sings waggling little powder puff tail)
I'm late! I'm late! I'm very, very late!

RMS. Are you there or are you kidnapped.
Did you receive a message from the BL with instructions. I am concerned in case they only sent it to me. It has your email address on it and is cc'd to me.
Do you understand your task. This thread will self destruct in 30 seconds. No, just joking.
You need to email them the information they require as listed in their email. They don't send a form.

We are forecast 18 degrees tomorrow. We have had our driest June for three years and the long range forecast is for warmer weather and less rain. Yay!!! Whoops, sorry tree huggers. I'm sure it will be alright if it rains warm rain during the night.

I am wondering when I will ever magic up an easy search. I set out to check one record to make sure it existed and now I am plunged into Scottish records none of which match with IGI and nothing makes sense.

I think I need a milo and a vegemite toast. Feed the brain cells.

A good night's sleep migh help, Aunty :-)

OH got called in to supervise a 3 hour exam a short notice- glad it wasn't me :-D So off to make hay while the Sunshine's (or at least put the washing on the line!

(dont's you all think the world's weather is out of sync? It can't all be down to El Nina)

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 24 Jun 2011 14:05

And a good night's sleep to you to Det.

Was just thinking the same thing. Reading Scotland records of a birth, took a look at the image and there was what I think were witnesses to the birth. Both with the same name as the parents. Thought it might have been the fathers but a search for the wife with a father of the name of the witness drew a blank.

Sleep is what I need.

Morning all. Brisk cold morning with a promise of the warmth of an English summer day, 18 degrees. Flaming freezing.

I'm off to Blondie's house for some more gardening. By gardening read, pulling up, out and off various types of green material usually attached to the earth. Should keep me out of mischief and away from my tree for the day.

Tomorrow we are driving 35 of your miles to have breakfast with the family. It is last born's birthday and breakfast is the easiest way to get everyone together.

I can hear OH stirring the porridge pot. Hope there is enough left for me. Catch you all later.
