Morning. Well my eyes are open. Thank you for all the stratgegies and comforts. The boakins and the milo worked very well.

YG. How clever are you. Tip your keyboard upside down take the screws out the bottom, and fix the backspace key. It is probably only grubby around the edges. You will probably be able to carefully remove the one key. However, for goodness sake, do not tip your keyboard upside down and shake it because all the little keys will fall out and you will have the devil of the time trying to remember where they all go.

If you have a lappy, hmm maybe you'd better not do that.

I have done that when I spilt a glass of water over the keyboard.

I see you have noticed you can now delete a post without leaving any evidence of it. Very handy when you have hiccups.

Supposed to start raining here today. Just what we need, not.

I don't know why you lot don't arrange a meet in one of your larger cities and include a visit to a headquarters of a fire station. You could say y ou were family historians and you are doing a comparison between the fire service of the late 1800s and the technology of today. Either that or you are doing a comparison between the firemen (whoops sorry firefighters) of the 1800s etc etc.

Whoops, sorry Aunty!! You sneaked in there with your hob nail boots and I didn't see you :-) :-) :-)

Pleased you are feeling a bit better. You can send the boakins back now if you like.

Maybe we could visit Blackwall Firestation. Isn't that where London's Burning was filmed and that blue watch weren't half tasty!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Jun 2011 22:14

Ooo, London's Burning - remember it well (sigh). Almost ran over a cast member locally. Think she was the canteen lady , or one of the wives. She was had almost started to use the zebra crossing, and I was too busy saying 'Isn't that wotshername' and had to slam the breaks on. :-\

Glad you're feeling a bit better Aunty.

Hi LG - fine although trying not to nod off too soon! Has OH recovered or still being a Big Boy's Blouse? Not that I blame him if he is, considering...

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Jun 2011 23:12

OH is getting there.slowly. Still quite uncomfortable as the bruising is just starting to appear inside his eye. Focus is just starting to sort itself too so that is a bonus :-)
