Morning all well i have a later start today we only have three classes in today so will be over in a few hours then i have a client this afternoon In Crook so I have invited myself to tea lol
Then He is here for the weekend, no comments as we are doing chores lol
his son is off to uni at some point and i have some stuff packed up there he can use
Builders are back again sometime .Roof is not up to standard and they have left a large cable across the floorboards in the loft and have cracked a floorboard trying to cut another one .

'My' school is closed except for year 12/13, and I'm waiting to see if the dustbin men come. They are contractors so I'm not sure if the strike involves/effects them.

Evening all. Head a little clearer today and nose has stopped dripping. I have enough Vitamin C, cough lollies and head cold tablets in me to start a pharmacy.

Had word this evening that grandson has just become engaged. He is on a trip OS somewhere and popped the question. Excellent idea. I had to giggle because a short while ago he assured me he intended to be married on the beach with a barbie for the reception. We will wait and see.

How wonderful! (both the improving lurgy and the Engagement) :-D

Is she a nice Aussie girl, or one of them 'furners' he has met? They still might have a Beach n Barbie wedding - you never know!

I'm not bad thanks!! Am off tomorrow as council are coming to look at lounge radiator!

Had an interesting evening!! Lost my diary and couldn't find my naked gardener's phone no, so asked Mary next door. She gave me his number yesterday and I phoned leaving a message. Got a call showing on phone tonight so rang him, but it wasn't Pete! He was confused because he repairs washers, doesn't do gardening!! I was confused, but my washer was on the blink anyway, and as Mary knows him because he repairs hers, I asked him to do mine, so he came tonight!!

Whilst waiting for him to do the repairs I decided to search in the drawers for my diary, but couldn't find it! I had one that was bought for me at Christmas but I have never used it. I decided just to flick through it again and gues what >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all the pages with my phone nos on were in there!! I must have torn them out of the old diary ready to write them up and not done it. SO!! I have Pete's number after all, and a washing machine repair man into the bargain!!! Oh what joy to have a quiet washer again and know that I don't have to buy a new one lol!!!

Future wife of grandson. (What relation is she to me). Grand daughter in law, is a very ordinary, down to earth Aussie girl. Well I haven't researched her family tree yet. She has been to several family occasions and will probably fit into this family very well, (poor dear).

That snopes link is rather good, although not buying a newspaper does mean I hadn't seen the original Cinderella suggestion. And its good to hear that even in today's climate, grandson is going to formally plight his troth!
