LG. I have been thinking. And you know when Aunty thinks dangerous things can happen.

We are coming up to 600 pages. Is there a chance this thread might self destruct after reaching that target.

You know where I am leading. Does anyone else think this dearly beloved thread is becoming far too unweildy to manage. Has anyone looked back at any of the last 550 pages.

It is your thread and naturally I, being the most famous and meticulous thread killer in thread history would of course like to be responsible for killing this thread.

However that depends on how fast I can move after you zap me with your laser gun for even suggesting such a course of events.

So, as I said before, tell me how attached you are to this thread. Would not a brand new "Chronicles of" be easier to handle.

Input by other Nutters is actively encouraged, but it is LGs thread.

Well we have had it self destruct twice so maybe a new one would be a thought. I will wait and see what the other Nutters think and then make the decision as to zapping it into eternity LOL :-D

Sparkler for DET.

It's like a comfortable pair of shoes, a daily diary, a worn dressing gown to mooch around the house in.

I love the content of the thread, and as DET says it is a safe place to hang out, my concern is with the size of it. The friends, conversations and discussions will remain, only it will be quicker to reach them instead of being exhausted by the time you arrive at the end of the thread.

If you like I'll save it to a DVD and we can sell copies at the local markets.

And don't ask me if I actually can save a copy to a DVD, but I'll bet I can because I still have some of the earlier Nut Lodge sagas saved to my computer.

Afternoon everyone.

Been a busy bee this morning whilst waiting for the next repair man!! Car vacuumed out, oil, power steering fluid and screenwash checked and topped up!! Unmentionables done, apart from ironing, but it is a holiday day after all!!!

Radiator fixed and know how to 'bleed' it now, just in case!! And he has set the pump on a higher setting. Radiator now works fine, but he says the whole system needs to be on their priority list to replace, so we will wait and see!!

Off down to the smoke on Thursday, LG!! But won't be waving to you on way there as I am travelling from Sheffield to St Pancras, but returning from Kings Cross, so can wave to you then!! That is, of course, after I have made obscene gestures when passing a certain stadium!! :-P :-D

Ah YG you will be on what the folks about hereabouts call the Bedpan LIne. ;-). Play nicely and wave genteeley to my sacred Emirates LOL :-D.

DET is right this has lost it's sparkle so who is for moving to another residence with a new name and any ideas. Seeing as the CPs seemed to have deserted us (except that damn Sweetpea) perhaps we should go on an expedition to find some new ones. Only one stipulation I keep my throne,crown,broomstick and Laser LOL ;-)

A DVD would be a great idea Aunty we could all buy a copy :-)

I like Nut Lodge Revisited. I think we have worn out most of the CPs. They all have their own lives now and with all the births most of them are living and working at difference locations around the globe. I will have a go at copying the thread to a DVD tonight. So don't go whooshing it before then.

I agree we need a new Nut Lodge and it must have a throne room and LG would not be the same without her broomstick. Emirates is the name of the stadium isn't it. I thought that was a commercial passenger aircraft company. Oh don't worry our stadium is called Aami after an insurance company. We all call it Footy Park.

I have shopping, work work today and footy this evening. Forecast is for 90% chance of rain so I will have a wet bottom and probably pneumonia. We had 22 degrees here yesterday, warmest start to July for several years.
