morning all.

Decided on grilled fish, no chips, and vegetables for tea last night. Ate too much of course but it was very nice.

We are making progress with the cyber pets. DET that poor little critter looks like he's lost his mother. Is he an orphan. And YG and Pauline you have excelled yourselves.

I like Tumbleweed House. Sounds very relaxed, and slightly screwy. Of course we wont have to reduce the size of the mansion. We can have as many rooms as we like. However we all tended to congregate in the throne room or the kitchen. Perhaps the CPs could have their own wing, rather than a compound.

Have you any idea what other GR users must think when they see our avatars at other places on the board. I wonder what newbies think when they see DETs wabbit when she answers a question.

Forget to tell you. When I arrived home from work last night I was greeted by OH with the words, "Get away from me you germ ridden individual, cough, cough, sneeze, sniff!!" Poor OH, he's caught my cold. It will probably develop into man flu, which is ten times worse than a common head cold. And he has had his flu shots as well.

Make certain you name your CPS so we know who they are. If you haven't found one yet, but can describe it/her/him, that should do. If you wish we can then return to our own avatars. Hopefully I can find something I like, or I will be reduced to using some of my ancestors photos and there's slim pickings there indeed.


It's a pity that uploading a new avatar causes it to change everywhere. I would like to have the cyberpets in a picture gallery at the top of the thread.

Pauline probably has the "drawing with punctuation" skills to design Tumbleweed House. We need a front entrance, a very large throne room, a kitchen, and then an assotment of rooms off the throne room possibly down a passage. Then perhaps an attached wing for the CPs. Outside should be the catapult. We also need a storage room for LGs munitions.

Someone load up the catapult and send a pile of drawing paper, pencils and a suitable remuneration (I did think chocolate) over to Pauline.

Aunty, I did try googling ugly clip art and all sorts of things, but did manage eventually to come up with Fido!! Can't say I am keen on the 'red' helmet, but you can't have it all, can you!!

Fido has quite a 'firey' (ha-ha!) temperament, but will be useful at Tumbleweed House in case any parties get out of hand :-D

I have been trying to change my avatar since yesterday but it wont let me so i must be doing something wrong lol
very dark and wet here am working later i get to know if i have a job or what kind of contract i have in september today fingers crossed its not too small and i can either find another job or the hours to compensate
