I wonder if YG would be interested to know that I had 3 firemen at my door yesterday afternoon. I thought there must have been a fire in the street when I saw the engine, but they were only here to do a survey about smoke alarms, fire-doors and escape roots.

The man asking the questions was very good looking, I'm not usually attracted to dark haired men but this one was a bit of a dish.


Not sure what this'll come out like but I'll give it a go......

Just noticed that Island has started a thread about it, so glad its not just thee and me! The site went down for maintenance about 9 pm yesterday, so perhaps they are still tinkering?

Oh YG I am absolutely in tears of laughter. You probably won't have seen it but on another thread someone asked me if my avatar was my portrait or something.

I answered no and that each time I look at it I want to pick it up, dunk it in a bucket of water, and wash the nearest window with it.

Perhaps you'd better put your cat somewhere safe in case I call "Muffin" and it reaches my outstretched hands first.

I'll change its name to. heavens I don't know. DET may I borrow your thinking cap. Note: Remember to put a hook up in the throne room for the thinking cap. And another for the round tuit.

Site appears to be fixed. Everything is operating at a good speed.

Pauline that is an absolutely stunning mansion. It will suit us admirably. Throne room in the middle. Our suites on one side and the CPs on the other. The kitchen at the back behind the throne room.

Maz you need to dump your chosen avatar into the my pictures folder so it becomes a .jpg or .tif or some picture type file extension. I right mouse click, copy and then paste it into a folder in my pictures. Then when you go into GR and your account you look for the my pictures folder and save that as your avatar "address".

afternoon all well The iceberg has won I have kept my job but lost 6and half hours a week so i am hoping the other job will bridge the gap
and that school meals are sympathetic to my needs for other employment .eg being flexible but as they dont want me there it will not happen think i will be applying for jobs . but it could be worse i suppose

So sorry to hear that Maz. It must be hard trying to find work which will suit your needs. :-0 But at least you will have the Summer Holidays to attend interviews etc.

Lets add a snack bar to way lay passing travellers to the new abode. That ought to keep you busy :-D

At least I have two jobs just as long as they come up with the goods
I need to be flexible and the iceberg will get all the extra hours anyway I am hoping that i will get away in time at lunch time to get to other clients
Speaking of Firemen my mum locked herself out today she phoned her lifeline number for help then went to a neighbour who phoned the firebrigade but she then disappeared anyway she was found they stayed and checked the lock for her and had a cuppa too

Hope things turn out ok with the job, Maz. It might end up being the best thing for you. Something will hopefully be round the corner for you.

I am pretty damn tired after an awful week so far at work, but am busy preparing for tomorrow! Need to be up at five as I am meeting my boss at the station at 7!! Wish I could just fall out of bed, get ready and go, but things to do as well as blowdrying hair etc etc!!

I am having quite a good week so far as H and J and the Littlies are away on a little break. I do miss them but I am getting loads of those horrible little odd jobs done that get overlooked.

I would like to introduce William my CP Werewolf. We are at this very moment practising howling at the moon together. :-D

Thanks I have been looking for days for something that fits in with my persona on here and of course a werewolf fits well. I have found some amazing clipart sites and some will come in very useful for Brownies etc. Now to wait for the next full moon and we can have a great times singing ;-)
