Well it's 50% success rate out of four journeys since last November!!!

And the train from Sheffield to St Pancras is far superior to the one to KX!! It looked brand new and more leg room!! Very bright and cheery!

Coming back from KX, the seat was almost on your chin and no hot drinks available.

Looks like we are in for a storm now!! I've heard thunder rumbling in the distance and the sky is a lovely colour! :-(

It's quite bright here tonight , better than it's been for most of the day. I am glad you enjoyed your ride on the bedpan line. So called because we get on at Bedfrod (bed) and get off at Pancras (pan) clever or what ;-) :-D :-D

We only stopped at Chesterfield, Derby & Leicester this morning so a pretty good journey with very pleasant staff. It's time to get some decent trains on the KX line now.

I was really impressed with St Pancras. It looks fantastic now. Such a shame I didn't have chance to look in some of the shops!!

I could do with a good bit of retail therapy but I will wait until we go away

Mmm, me too!! I think I will have a bit of that during my holidays!!

A friend has asked me to go away with her too!!! Not sure yet whether it will be a long weekend with a show, or somewhere warm!! I will try to persuade her to wait until next spring if it's a proper holiday to give me chance to sort out boarding for the two horrors and see how funds are doing!

I am really ready for a good holiday. I haven't been away for about ten years now and haven't seen the sea since 2001!!

Oh I do hope you gey one soon. We are off for 3 days to Wiltshire digging at the tree roots again LOL then our proper holiday in the Peak District. No seaside though for us as now the kids are grown we don't really enjoy it.

No, but I would like to spend a day by the sea, just to feel that lovely refreshing air!! As long as it isn't blowing a gale, of course!! The Peak District is beautiful so I am sure you will have a lovely restful holiday. Second honeymoon on the cards lol? :-D
