I did mine yesterday and gave up trying to dry between showers so bunged it in the drier. Saved some ironing doing that BONUS!!! :-D

Definitely!! I don't like ironing!!!

I am off to bed now, I'm afraid and it's not ten o'clock yet!! Never been known, but can't stay awake any longer!!

Hello David, you are correct haven't seen you for a while. I would not say we are in the pink over here. More like in the blue because it is flaming freezing cold.

I not only don't like ironing, I don't iron. That was one of my reasons for staying at work into my dotage. Ironing lady. When I retire and go on the pension or whatever I'll have to look at doing my own. But till then no ironing.

I tried going grey, thought it was the mature thing to do. Was OK until grey haired OH decided he didn't like a grey haired wife. So painting the hair is in the same category as ironing.

Hello David, not bad just got a strained back muscle but I'll live :-D,

I have not got too many grey hairs YET!! :-). But if my lot keep on the way they are who knows they will drive me grey ;-).

morning all well we are supposed to have showers and sunshine so the washing is going out and hope for the best i have loads .
i dont mind ironing i only the creased stuff i dont iron undies or socks and if i am careful how i fold etc i dont do bedding either lol

Morning - you were all up early and chatting, except YG who has managed a lie in.

Talking about work - PC came home in a fury with associated tears - they are losing their London Weighting, Secure ward uplift, unsocial hours payments, and won't be allowed to eat with the patients with hospital provided food. They will have to go off the ward during their 20 min unpaid break (which they often can't fit in) to eat............if they can physically get out which may not happen if there is no one to open the security airlock. She says she would earn more going back to work in retail

And 'The Computer says' she owes them a shift which the Computer has fitted in on the first week of her main annual leave going away holiday!

Evening all. Winter continues with all its gloom, cold and misery.

I am packed and ready to go loll about in luxury. Of course I will think about you all while I eat cream cakes and sip champagne (yuk), err hot chocolate.

Had a young trainee do my shampoo today. Hold on a minute while I screw my head back on my shoulders. Aggressive hair washer to say the least. I spoke quietly to my hairdresser and she agreed a chat was in order. i can however vouch for the cleanliness of my hair.

Can't offspring negotiate her shift another time DET. That seems awfully unfair to slot it in during a holiday, on top of all the other new impositions. Oh well we await our carbon tax information tomorrow morning. Heavens only knows how much prices will increase and how much the government is going to hand out to offset these increases, which we will have to pay for in additional taxes. Stupid Labor government, muck the country up everytime they get into power.

Evening all!!

Quick, sharp heavy downpour this morning, then it all cleared and it has been lovely. Got all the washing done and dried!!

Did manage a lay-in! Up at 6.40 to let cats out, then back to bed with a cuppa and book for half an hour, then more sleep till 10.20!!! Absolutely shameful, but needed!! :-D

Evening YG. Nothing shameful about getting some well deserved rest. I was awake at 5.30 and could not get back to sleep so got up at 6.30. Boy do I feel tired now as we had a visit from the littlies back from their holiday. Lots of cuddles and games to catch up with. :-D

Oh dear!! Was outside checking the tomato plants and I was collared by the old guy that lives at the other end of the road. Can he rabbit !!!! Whenever he catches me it is always three quarters of an hour standing at the gate, hearing half a dozen stories that I have heard before!!
