Evening, here and dry at last. Couldn't ride the broomstick tonight so I rode a mop instead :-D :-D :-D

Andrew is neglected lol he had a bowl of cereal for tea as there is" no food in " lol freezer has all sorts in he was too lazy and hot to bother lol

Hello LG!! A mop could be very becoming in the new house when we have moved, instead of your broomstick!! I'm sure your OH could supercharge it for you and then I could have the broomstick :-D

It needs supercharging for sure. It moved quite slowly as Yidarmylass would confirm.

Then we need to get it souped up!! We can't have you going at half speed LG. It just will not do!!

:-D :-D I will see what OH can do. I will get it done before we move house. Just trying to re cover the throne and cushions and paint the walls red and white ready for occupation.

Don't forget the foot stool!! It is needed for tired feet on a regular basis!!


Not keen on the colour scheme!!! Never mind, I can do my bedroom however I like!!

I am having two futons made for the cats so they are nice and comfy!!

Well I have to leave you now LG!! Bed is calling yet again!! I am so ready for my hols, they can't come quick enough!

I am sure a photo of moi will appear. Several were taken. I took one look at the "official" photographers effort and handed it back.

I don't keep photos of me that make me look any older than 30, slim, unwrinkled and beautiful. Therefore there are very few photos of me in existence. Practically none, in fact.

I am off to the city today. I have a session booked with my superannuation scheme company. I am hoping to find out where I am with retirement, how much money I will have, what tax the Govt will take and what happens if I keep working until I depart this life. The last is an alternative to retirement and then having to do away with OH because he will drive me batty.

Meeting should take about an hour then I have the rest of the day which I am going to spend in the family history section of the state library.

I still have not unpacked and I slept from 7 last night until 5.45 this morning. Woke up once and asked OH why he was still out of bed. It was 8.00pm. After that nothing. I feel mucher betterer. Must go now to shower in my own bathroom, and get dressed in my own bedroom. Breakfast wasn't quite as lavish, just porridge. Well one can't live on danish pastries, pancakes, bircher museli and muffins all one's life can they???

Evening all - well LG perhaps. Sounds as if we will have to put in a special drying room from when she and YAL comes in drenched from Brownies (and the rest of us from the rain)

There is nothing better about a trip away as arriving home, is there? Enjoy your day in Town after trying to get some sense out of the Pension person - we had one of those meetings last week As long as you and OH can both pursue your different hobbies, it isn't so bad both being retired. And you can go away on holiday outside of the High season, which isn't a bad thing! ;-)

Morning all - looks as if I should have claimed the Crown last night! Hope Maz didn't oversleep after overnight disturbances, and LG hasn't come down with a cold :-0

We/I've been trying to sort out a holiday. So far we have 2 nights booked 1/2 an hour from Bath, then a gap of 2 nights before dumping ourselves on friends near Truro. Any ideas?

PS - haven't told OH yet that we will be in spitting distance of a few relevant churchyards :-D

Morning DET. I am off to scour the graveyards again in Wiltshire for a couple of days pretty soon. Then off up to Derbyshire for 6 nights (not telling myOH we will be in churchyard territory then too!!! ;-)

hi i nearly slept in this morning it was a rowdy evening but i was doing chores so kept going I am going out into the garden now to cut the grass etc will pop in at break times lol
I have just seen there people leaving with washing up bowls etc next door are tehy going or are their lodgers going ?

Perhaps they were only putting up the extended family after all - once you've finished mowing the front, you'll have to pretend you're cleaning the windows (indoors and out) :-D :-D

They have a big family anyway and Travellers gather together also they are outdoor folk .and the families live in trailers so they are used to a tiny space really . No more activity reported now though I have done the grass and the two front borders which do look much better my next job is to clean the shower lol
