Did try on-line shopping once or twice, but I much prefer touching/looking etc. A tactile shopper if ever there was. And you can't rummage in the reduced shelves on line - most of our joints of meat in the freezer have little yellow reduced stickers. :-)

The main shop we use is Sains, but go to As*da twice a month as they have 3 bottles of plonk for £10. Food shopping is our guaranteed outing of the week, and usually includes a coffee and muffin. Sad or what?

Actually Pauline, we were priciing up blocks of cheese - they used to be 400g, but now they are 350g at the same previous price. A hidden price rise. :-(

Glad you've found some more twiglets Elizabeth - they are often as interesting or more so than your direct line. I keep meaning to prune my tree but end up adding on to it instead!

My mother used to walk round looking for her glasses when they were on a chain round her neck!! I haven't got quite that bad yet!!

I have just had a find on OH's side of the tree so I have been adding some more folk. I too want to prune my tree but end up adding bits instead. I had my tree on here deleted so that I can just do our very direct line but I have only entered 6 people so far (one day !!!!) :-D :-D.

Hee, hee. I stopped adding on here ages ago. But I've got all sorts of twigs and offshoots, its ridiculous. Any hotmatch contact I have now, seem to be about those. :-0

well even though m contract has beeen reduced I am not wanted because there will be no overtime for us and i will not be needed unless the numbers pick up in september I have Job applications in all over and keep an eye on internal vacancies too

Good luck with the job applications Maz. Hopefully something will come up for you. Obviously wrongly, I'd assumed that you wouldn't be going in for the breakfast clubs, not that they were cutting you down from the midday meals. Although it is regrettable, there could be more children entitled to free lunches next term, which may put the catering numbers up again.

Have you looked out for Teaching/Teacher's Assistants or Learning Mentor jobs? Primary school ones might be just up your street. Lollipop lady?

Dunno - might get the ironing board out, and supervise OH with the vacuum cleaner. Need to wait in for the post man as we are expecting a delivery - should have been despatched 2nd class on Monday and we need it for Saturday.
