Weekend!!! Whooppeeeeee!!!!!

Pleased to hear Smudge is feeling much better today, Maz.

DET, PCs car tax reminds me of an incident with my passport some years ago. Not going into all the gory details, but it was hidden in the garage and the mice nibbled it beyond repair. Try explaining that to the Passport Office!!

Aunty, there some areas oop norf that aren't going to be too far behind you temperature wise overnight,. A mere 8degs at the height of summer.

LG, I was where I seem to spend the majority of my life >>>>>>>> at work!!!

Dear All

Hello

Hope you are okay.

Schools out! Ding, Ding goes the bell!

This means my lot want to go on an intrepid adventure over the weekend.

The internet is abuzz with activity. :-(

Meanwhile, I am still sorting through all the info I have discovered.

I can't believe some of my ancestors were only living up the high street!
And I thought they had emigrated!

Whatever you plan to do, travel safely and keep well. :-D

Take gentle care
Best wishes
EOS
xx

Evening LG. I have been sitting back watching the tv. Having problems with tired eyes again, so been trying to give the lappy a rest.

I'm well, but really tired after a busy week, so will be off to bed shortly. I can have a lay-in tomorrow so will feel refreshed hopefully!

The weeks fly by!! I wish the weekends would go more slowly though!!

I'm going to bed now LG. Can't keep awake any longer I'm afraid!! That's another trait of old age, I guess!!

Sleep well and I will catch you tomorrow. Don't get too comfy on that throne, because DET or Aunty could be lurking!! <3

And speaking of mice. Went to cut a slice from the loaf OH made yesterday and there is a sizeable hole in one end. I said to OH why did you pick a hole in the bread. He said I did not, I said have you caught the mouse you "saw" yet. He said no and showed me the empty trap. I said well it's no use putting the trap on that side of the room the mouse is over here.

Oh well, never mind, the critter must have been very hungry to eat OHs bread.

Last two days of my holidays and then it is back to work. My team was well and truly beaten last night. They played away over the border so I did not have to sit through the embarrassment of such a defeat. Next week we play in the derby against the bottom team in the comp. If we can't win that game I believe we will have a new coach next year. Pity really because the coach can only work with the team he is given.

Hi EOS, hope you enjoy your holiday with your family. You have lots of opportunity for adventure in your part of the world.

YG do your eyes get all blurry and squinty after a few hours on the computer? Think it is called old age!!!

LaGooner Report 22 Jul 2011 22:47

Nite nite YG. You know what I say you are as young as you feel. I feel like an 18 year old but can't run fast enough to catch him LOL :-D :-D ;-). Sleep well and sweet dreams.

Hello Aunty I will send you my youngest cat then you will have no problem with mice.

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 22 Jul 2011 23:16

Yes a cat would probably have an enjoyable time here, providing it could run faster than the sabretoothed tiger. I don't think Spot would harm the cat however he would need to hold it gently in his mouth and squeeze it until it squeaked. He just loves squeaky toys.

Wonder if the throne room is vacant. I need to fix the hinges on the trap door under the throne. If anything "challenging" is sleeping beneath the throne, quick flick of the switch, trapdoor swings open and plop! into the custard vat below.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 22 Jul 2011 23:23

Oh poor William he loves sleeping under the throne. He makes sure I am safe while I am asleep. He is my Guard Wolf :-D. As for cat and sabre tooth, she wouldnot bat an eyelid as she will take on even the largest dog. She is a lean keen killing machine ;-)

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 22 Jul 2011 23:29

Hi LG aren't you in bed yet. Your eyes are getting heavy, you feel the need to sleeeeeep. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Aunty drags the giant vacuum cleaner into the throne room. Hmmm wonder if it is large enough for William to fit in. Perhaps drowning in custard is not a very wolfmane way to go.

Oh bother I'll leave him there. He doesn't eat very much and he is handy for keeping the council rate gatherers away, not to mention the door to door sales people.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 22 Jul 2011 23:36

Hi Aunty no not yet. Just plumping up the throne cushions and making a nice hot chocolate for me and a lamb sandwich for William. The vacuum could be handy to sweep up all the hair as William is moulting something awful :-(

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Jul 2011 00:09

Mmmmmmmm these cushions feel lovely and comfy. Nite nite it is now my bedtime. Catch you tomorrow. <3
