It's awfully crowded in here tonight - budge up Aunty and LG.

DOWN Spot - go and play with William outside.

Wakey, Wakey! Rise and Shine!

Aunty, hope your your muscles aren't quite so stiff today - you really ought to stop competing with the lithe 20 somethings ;-) Find an exercise class slightly less physically demanding.

Unless you've kept quiet about it, you've been v restrained about using your own time for work work. :-D

Morning EOS - ah School Summer holidays. No more having to get up at the crack of dawn to drag them kicking and screaming to the school gate. But no lie-ins cos they suddenly have loads of energy and want to be entertained!!! A mixed blessing, really.

A question - I planted sunflower seeds a few months ago. They are over 10 feet tall, but no sign of a flower. Any idea when this will happen?

Morning all,

Answer to question DET. Littlies Sunflowers in my garden in pots have flowered and done, the ones in the border are flowering now and the one they gave to Yidarmylass is very tall but no flower yet. Work this out :-( they were all planted on the same day.

Morning LG - good to know that mine aren't the only ones not to have a flower yet! I'd ask my BFF who gave the seeds how hers are getting on - but she lives in another part of the country.

Think I'd better go - OH is clearing up in preparation for a visit from BM + 1 !!

i am here had alie in as Andrew was off to edinburgh at 5am so stayed in bed but as froggy is coming down I have had to tidy up as it was a tip here .I abandoned the place last night after youth .The idea was to get up and get stuck in this morning but the dog next door was barking for ages at about 3am so i was woken then .
we are trying to find which letting agency has this property as we are all sick of them The ones who came to stay the eldest had dragged someone out of a car nicked it and was done for it but the mother was intimidating the family with texts letters etc so the police have got her now lol
Prior to that a neighbours Giro has gone missing and been cashed their letterbox is on the floor level so the police are looking into that now .It has never been that bad here ever .

Good grief - how the other half lives! Thought I'd seen it all with some of the tales PC comes home with, but that takes the biscuit. But as previously mentioned, the landlord has to give them 2 months notice to quit in normal circumstances.

Try and nap while you can. Frog will understand if you nod off.

Lol - you're probably right Maz :-) Hope you had a good day, and a more peaceful night tonight.

LG must still be tied up partying, or too pooped to lift a finger ;-)

Morning all. Just a tip. If you are having problems with the drop down menus working or the family tree page not opening in its own window. Go to tools compatibility view and uncheck it if it is checked. Then test your menus. If things are working OK, leave it alone.

Some people need to have CV checked, others unchecked. It seems to depend on what internet option you have.

Morning YAL, is that a bottle of the famous red which came from the shipping container which was dropped off a forklift in Australia. Caused a million dollar loss in wine export. I kid you not.

Lovely day here, cold but clear. I am having a rest day gearing myself up for the first day of work work tomorrow. Well I'll rest after I cook OH more fairy cakes, tidy up my work filing, do a fitness class and sort out some ancient rellies. Have not even thought about unmentionable, I can still see most of the furniture and floor so the house can't be that untidy.

Helloooooooooooooooo :-D.Just a quick look in to see if you are all behaving. We had a very busy day and I could not even be bothered to switch the lappy on until now. See I knew it Yidarmylass creeps in when I am not about :-( LOL.

Mazfromnorf Report 24 Jul 2011 08:05

morning all well the night was not peaceful they have a dog and it was barking most of the night again . It is outside all the time tied up as most of the dogs are around here

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 24 Jul 2011 09:01

Oh Maz, I do feel so sorry for you. Even if a dog is kept outside they should not be allowed to bark all night. They can be trained out of it (if the owner can be bothered that is). and by the sound of it they can't be bothered about anything.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 24 Jul 2011 09:14

Morning all - Sorry to hear that you've had another bad night Maz. Have you thought of getting the RSPCA involved? Although they may say that a barking dog is a happy dog :-(

Hmm - wonder how many of the intact bottles were 'liberated' after the container was dropped???

LaGooner Report 24 Jul 2011 09:21

Morning DET. I can only assume that the change of Avitar means Yidarmylass has been on the tipple LOL. I'll ask her later :-D. Praying for good weather later as there is a birthday barbeque for A's birthday. If not we will be having food indoors while the chef gets wet ;-)

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 24 Jul 2011 09:30

Hi LG - if YAL is invited to the barbie, you'll have to ask her to bring a bottle, just in the interests of quality control, you understand?

Hope the catering goes well - it looks as if it will be dry. Just make sure you don't all get ASBOs :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 24 Jul 2011 09:35

LOL DET, yes she is invited too so it will be lively to say the least ;-) ASBO's never !!!!! not us :-0 ;-)

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 24 Jul 2011 09:46

Who's cooking then? Tends to be the males around here - and they think a BBQ involves little effort. They aren't the ones sorting out salads and side dishes before hand. Or doing the clearing up afterwards!
