Afternoon everyone. It's been a lovely day here today, so have been having an 'easy' day!!

Happy Birthday to LG's littlie!! Hope she is having a lovely barbie!!

I have just woken up lol I have cut the grass ,after lunch now just doing some Admin I actually have the day off tomorrow am shopping at tea time got chores to do but it has been so nice not to have to do everything today lol
I hope the baies have had a good BBQ was the tipple a good one lol no doubt we will here LG singing as she goes home I have to do the BBQ here lol

Evening all, we have had a lovely afternoon and the littlies have had a great time with Aunts,Uncles and Cousins as well as us of course. Yidarmylass and I stayed sober, so did Oh as he has some of the family to drive home afterwards.

Glad you have both had a good day - try to get to bed early Maz before the dog starts to bark. Perhaps we ought to set William on him/her.

LG is probably already tucked up, all tuckered out after eating all the tucker. :-D Its good to hear the littlies and the rest of the family enjoyed the BBQ. The weather was certainly kind to you.

Morning all, first day back at work work. Retirement begins to look inviting however I would miss the money.

The great mouse hunt has been unsuccessful. OH will be purchasing an old fashioned mouse trap this morning. No not a cat!! I am sure I heard the critter laughing as it bypassed the ultramodern plastic contraption it was supposed to enter.

We actually saw it last night as it climbed between the stereo and the cupboard. Cheeky little devil. Oh well at least it will be well fed when it shuffles off to mouse heaven.

I am still about but just chillin LOL :-D. Aunty,I'll send Willam over with his sack and club so he can catch the offending rodent

Wakey wakey, rise and shine ( except for Aunty who should have an early night).

We've a couple of old fashion mouse traps under the kitchen sink. Hang on while I dig them out. Ouch! Who left them on the trigger? We've found using a piece of dried fruit (sultana/raisin) if the traps have a spike, or peanut butter if they have a 'well' works best.

Went to bed early last night, but still kept waking myself up...and OH I think :-0

Mornig DET. How do you keep waking yourself up ? I sat here last night and fell asleep after my last posting. Must be a sign of my age. :-D

Morning LG - it's a cough :-0 As for your falling a sleep being a sign of your age, it was probably the excitement of the party!! WE aren't getting old. Everyone else is getting younger ;-)

Aunty enjoy work dont work too hard though the first day back is usually the worst .
Well this is my only day in today and I have to meet andrew at Asda later ,I have scrubbed the kitchen floor and it looks lovely its overcast here so I hope it does not rain with the washing out
The Dog and music just goes on from about 4pm to the early hours its quiet now though I am not. All my neighbours all shout at each other .we have all had enough .
I have come up with a new definition of holiday it is time off when you
catch up on your own chores lol
LG glad you all had a good day it was a lovely day weatherwise here .
My plans for today are to get my wardrobes organised to take out all the things that can go in the loft such as christmas decorations
I have loads of books to sort out many are out of date but some are study books thta are good as reference books any i dont want i will offer on freecycle before binning them

My word Maz sounds like you will be busy. I am trying to summon up the enthusiasm to tackle the ironing pile. My wardrobe needs a really good sort out too and one day,maybe one day :-0 I might get it done :-D. You might as well leave the decorations down Maz as the way time flys we will need them again soonWeather was really lovely yesterday and the sun shone brightly on the littlies.

I have loads of decorations some i am going to give to Naomi so they all need repacking I have the ones they both made me when thye were in nursery and cant bear to part with them

Oh has a sore finger. He went shopping today and bought two mouse traps. Trying them out to see how they work. He knows how now.

My footy team coach quit today. I think media pressure has finally got to him. They have been merciless in their belief that he should go. I still think he should have stayed the rest of the season, ie the last six or seven games. He cited, "for the good of the club" and not able "to achieve the results he expected" and all those other oft heard pieces of wimsy.

Did he jump before he was pushed. Dunno!! I still think he is what the club needs however the voices for change were growing ever louder in recent times. Will be very interesting to see how the team performs in the next few weeks. We will never know if they improve if it was his doing or the new person's strategies.

Whoops nearly missed you there Maz. Same here I have lots that all the kids have made me at playgroup and scholl I don't always use them as some are getting a bit flimsy but I do have the 'special tree 'I put in the hallway for some of those bits,the latest offerings from Littlies and the sweets for my little visitors. That stops them destrying the lounge tree looking for goodies :-D. Right really must away <3

whoops back again I was typing while you posted Auntie. I can't wait for the new footie season to start I just have to go and buy the latest shirts and then myself and my mini Gooner are ready :-D

Perhaps there were character conflicts behind the scenes Aunty. You'll probably never know. But it does take time to turn a team around after buying in new players, or with new management.

Did the site go down about 10am? Been off doing something else, got the error page when refreshed, then when I came in through bookmarks, there wasn't any links anywhere on the home page!

The premiership does DET but there are other matches in between LOL.
