I think our cables might be underground as well. Never thought much about it, internet just happens in this household.

I am spending a few hours in the local LDS Family History Centre today. My film thingies have arrived. I will be screaming if there is no decent information on them. I have waited weeks for this. I know, Murphy and his law will probably spoil my day.

Do you think we should polish up LGs throne for her. It is looking very dusty hidden behind that blue velvet curtain in the corner. I know it will be dragged out again when she returns. Arsenal are playing again, aren't they?? So she will need somewhere quiet to sit and reflect on the success or otherwise of the team.

Evening/morning Aunty - the explorers depart on Wednesday - it's still Mon evening, so another full day before they tackle the British rail system. Yes, the fares are ridiculous... and they wonder why people don't use the public transport system as much as they could?

My printer is fixed for now but it may be terminal unless I can flush one of the colours free

It is working most of the time but is becoming unreliable they promised me a text to reset the phone but so far has not happened .and also the buttons are getting stuck so two issues with it .

Do any of you know who LG is researching in Wiltshire. Those records are part of the series I am looking at. I have a niggly feeling that someone I know is researching one of the names which occurred several times. Well a lot of the names were repeated more than several times but one just stuck in my brain. I am going back again tomorrow night for more looking.

22 degrees here today. It is the middle of winter and people are running around in short sleeves. We are still being promised rain before the weekend but I'm in no hurry to return to the chilly season.

I am using the refund from the train company after our disastrous attempt to get to PB in May, so at least it reduces the cost for me. I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Aunty, I wasn't suggesting you used a whole square of chocolate on the trap, just a tiny piece, about the size of a currant. We use a tiny bit off the end of a Mars Bar, the toffee makes it harder for the mouse to pull it off.............. they never escape. They die happy with a mouthful of chocolate and toffee.

Morning all - v sticky night, not helped by OH leaving the windows closed. He got up early as he was disturbed by the 'bleeding cold draught' when I did open them to get a 'cooling breeze'. He has now gone back to bed :-)
