Bye LG - enjoy the shopping trip

LG gone shopping has she. To buy some shirts. Can't make up her mind. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeell, I thought I would do some research for her to help in her selection.

All the shirts look the same. There are none with spots or stripes or flowers or cute little bunnies.

All the shirts are red and white. All the shirts either have sleeves or no sleeves. All the shirts come in different sizes.

Is this inability to make a decision between a red and white or a white and red shirt, a common affliction amongst soccer fans at the start of the season.


Meanwhile back to the mouses. I have it on good authority that pussy cats suffer from air sickness. I do not think cat (oh ha ha) apulting them over here would do their equilibrium any good. Thank you for your kind offer. And don't underestimate the cat catching ability of a labrador. The only time Spot moves quicker than when chasing a cat is when he hears the fridge door open.

OH and I had a discussion and have decided enough is enough so we have put down baits for the meece. Been careful to place them where Spot can not reach them. OH has been put in charge of removal of bodies and investigating suspicious smells. I am in charge of checking the supplies.

Have you seen RMS's thread on entertaining her parents. I think she did very well in one afternoon!!!

Isn't LG in mourning!! It looks like Fabergas and another of the foreign Arsenal team members are likley to abandon ship (or rather, footie pitch!!) :-D

I've been shopping too, for holiday clothes!!! Only got a couple of tops up to now and they are definitely not red & white!!

Think I'd better run & hide now before LG gets back!!

Good grief! £50 for a one season supporters shirt! Now i know BM is daft enough to spend that on a RU supporters shirt, but doesn't LG have more sense? :-P

Hope you snapped up some bargains in the end of season sales YG - there are quite a few around. :-)

I did get some bargains DET!! It's a good time to shop, although I often struggle to find my size as it seems to be the most popular!! How I wish I was a 10 or 12, but those days are long gone!! It's just wishful thinking now! :-D

just managed to get all the washing dry as it has been shhhh dry allday here

Hey Barnard Castle!! I know someone who has rellies who come from around that area.

Our footy merchandise is the same expensive cost as you have to pay. Not cheap being a supporter. And speaking of footy I am off to the game this afternoon. We are playing the second top team. I am hoping the miracle footy fairy, whose presence has not graced our games this year, will sprinkle fairy dust on the team as they run out onto the oval.

Half the team will probably get hay fever and the rest of them run away in fright, but, I can still hope.

Beautiful day here today. 19 degrees and fine. Very cold this morning but I do like the forecast. And the remainder of the week. Rain, rain and more rain.

the chinese laundry has opened third wash in at least its a dry day .we are off to as@@ later after church .
I live about ten miles from Barnard Castle Aunty it is a lovely area very pretty and the shops are nice its a small market town but famous cos the Bowes museum is there which is to do with the late queen mum

Yep - very quiet day yesterday. Most of mine was spent trying to confirm 'facts' given yonks ago by the branch descendant....and to try to work out what happened to another branch. I'm not very good with Oz and NZ records if they aren't on A*!

Need to put out the washing from yesterday, which didn't happen due to laziness. We could do with some of your rain. Its a sort of nothing weather - bit of sun, a lot of cloud and for a soft southerner, a bit too cool to sit out.

And my meagre crop of tomatoes have a blight or sumfink

Done the pile of ironing and thinking about cutting the grass before I return to the weekly slog tomorrow!!

My elderly neighbour was taken to hospital on Thursday afternoon with a temperature because of a water infection. Her son said the treatment was not good, in particular that the nurses haven't given her the required daily dose of heart tablets for her irregular heart beat and ahave also removed her compression bandages that she has been having to wear for months due to leg ulcers. Her legs have now swollen up badly and started weeping again. She also had an asthma attack during the night on Friday. He has now got her home nurse involved regarding her bandages so I hope when I see him again that there is some improvement.

I am really worried about her and hope that this is not the start of a downward spiral. I don't know what I would do without her. :-(

My two (one little and one bigger!!) visited yesterday. They had been out with Dad to buy some new fish as three had died, mawhh!! Mum was in bed with a migraine!

Just off to cut the grass whilst the weather allows!!

hello we have had a heavy shower here but has passed over i am on the 7th load now of washing just ironed the first pile .
while dinner is cooking am just looking in .i am hoping to get some more chores done too

My goodness it's quiet in here :-D. Thats good though as I have had time to correct the decor in here. It looks great in Red and White stripes ;-)
