Oh well done YG. H has had her review and said she deserves more money for the work she does :-D. I would not personally do her job for love nor money :-P

Hi LG. We are supposed to be going on to performance related pay, but I can't see it making any difference as they keep harping on about other charities getting less pay than we do, plus all the perks we get, ha-ha!!

Oh dear - now you've both got the lurgy. Tut tut. Here, have a jumbo box of hankies and keep the germs well away from here.

Well done YG for setting one of your personal targets as cutting down your hours. At least you've given them lots of notice. Now you have to set yourself a date.

And Maz has bagged a bargain - you'll have to pass on some tips. The closest I get is end of season T shirts from TU

That's good to hear. Hopefully OH has recovered enough to wait on you now!

Saw one of those jokey type key-rings today

Children have colds
Men have Flu
Women just get on with it.

:-D

Morning all, lovely and sunny here but I have no energy to go into the garden Grrrr :-( :-P. There is so much to do out there but hey ho there's always another day. Probably a wet one knowing my luck :-(

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 19 Aug 2011 09:30

Morning LG - sorry to hear that you are feeling yuk. The forecast for Sun and Mon is good, so perhaps you will feel up to it by then. You could always take your chair and coffee outside and just sit and relax :-)

LaGooner Report 19 Aug 2011 09:37

It is still a bit chilly out there at the moment but I might well do that later. I have to venture out in a minute to put the next lot of washing on the line so I will check the temperature then :-D. What are you up to today ?

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 19 Aug 2011 09:43

Probably not a lot! We had vaguely mentioned going out out with a picnic (as opposed to popping out for a couple of hours) but no plans made.

The rest of the tomato plants need to be binned :-( so I may do that, but that won't take long, and OH wants a prickly bush cut back. And that's about it. He has downloaded a new free drawing CAD style programme, so may hog the PC.

Sigh

LaGooner Report 19 Aug 2011 09:50

I have got to go and water the tomatoes later. I am lucky in that we have had a bumper crop and they are so sweet I have been eating them like sweets. That helps with the diet :-D. I have also got some cucumbers nearly ready so looking forward to those too

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 19 Aug 2011 09:55

I'm so jealous - mine got mildew, we think because of poor ventilation, despite leaving the door open.
This is the 2nd year in a row it has happened. OH has suggested that next year we have some outside and fewer in the plastic greenhouse and see how that works. I'd even grown them from seed on the window cill. Each tomato I've managed to rescue must have cost about £2.50 each. So much for cheap, fresh food. :-( :-(
