evening my washing is drying now there was a heavy downpour here is bishop it has been sunny where i was though in stockton

Still lovely here even though the sun is now going down. I'm sitting here feet up watching the match and feeling very lazy. I have just added a few more twigs to the tree :-0

morning all well my almost dry washing is well and truly wet it started about 4am and it was so heavy i did not bother lol so for the second time i am rinsing it to see what happens later ,I am on a course later but have some jobs to do prior to that .

Yoo Hoo - I'm here. Not quite raring to go, but getting there :-D

Being early Retirees and with PC doing shift work, the only difference the BHol weekend will make for us, is that (hopefully) across the road won't have builders vans parked outside :-D :-D PC & I get worked up about it when we have to back out with v little clearance - OH is more laid back, but even he had a hissy fit the other day.The regulars have been told by the householder to park partially on the pavement, but the occasional tradesmen (it was window fitters the other day) don't. :-(

On a lighter note, BM is coming for a meal this evening, and to deliver some less-tax products from his recent trip abroad :-D

It was dry when I got up, now its started raining - shopping day as well (sigh)

Morning all, freezing cold this morning, max temp today is about 17 which is going back to chilly.

We have had a major breakthrough in the search for OHs rellies. It's bad news good news type stuff and not the best result we hoped for. However he does now have some new rellies and we have contact with the descendents of both his brother and sister.

Busy sending letters and emails and in one case arranging a visit in the next month. There is lots of info we need to catch up on, and likewise we need to tell the others our story. OH is quite philosophical about it all and quietly excited about learning about his new found family.

I also have a sniffle. I really don't need to be sick right now. Hopefully it will go away and invade another part of the planet.
