Whoooooo Hoooooooooooooo. :-D. What a miserable wet day. Just got back from Stepson's as it is G.Daughters birthday today. Talk about Kevin the Teenager :-( Oh to be young and happy like her again NOT!!!! :-D

It's miserable and wet here too LG. Just had a short spell of 'sunshine' and now it's clouding over again, Not much better tomorrow or Tuesday either.

Well, hopefully we have finally found something. There was plenty to choose from but not in warm enough climes. Our dates were very restricted because my friend starts her final year of her CIPD diploma in a couple of weeks time. She actually only has about seven lessons between Sept and mid October and the rest is then by assessments and appointments with her tutor, but that meant that we couldn't go until late October.

We started to look at Jersey again for just a five day break in between her sessions, but they are getting pretty well booked up late September, so we have now opted for November and are looking at a cruise in the Canaries which will be warm enough. Let's hope my boss will let me have the dates off as it falls right in the week of the annual AGM. I won't be attending but we still need part of the team in the office, so fingers and toes crossed that one member of staff and the apprentice can cope!!!!

Oh good luck with that YG. It sound good to me. The sun has just come out and we have a smidgen of blue sky :-)

Glad you've managed to sort something out YG. Eldest has got one of those CIPD things! You'll have to ask if you can go to your friend's Presentation Ceremony - any excuse to get the Glad Rags out ;-)

Most of the packing is done, bar a few bits and bobs and picnic food. We had to go to the shops in the pouring rain as well, but its dry now. At least Maz will have managed to get her washing dry :-D

my washing was out all night from yesterday .I am hoping to get a load done tomorrow
.I am waiting in for a shower engineer so am going to do a load of chores .Pauline is probably catching up too with her washing

I'm still here :-D Just waiting for PC to get back from work. One of the clients was threatening to beat her up and I'm doing the concerned mummy bit.

Our friends (end of the week) are on the internet, but it would be a bit rude to ask to use it. Never mind. See every who is not polishing, dusting and buffing in a week or so!

morning folks well last full day off waiting for the shower engineer so I am doing the dreaded ,Hoping to get th ewashing dry before the rain starts lol also trying to clean my oven bit diifficult when you cant use abrasives on it
I do do it after use but there is still some stubborn spills which happen when i am not about .

Morning all. Maz invest in a steam cleaner they are brilliant for all sorts of jobs, I would not be without mine. Feeling terrible today I think I have the virus back that I had a little while back. I have had a really rough night with a very high temperature and all my skin on my back feels really sore.

The instructions on my oven is no steam cleaner however I have been using a bowl of water boiled in the oven that seems to have got a fair bit off .I should be better at cleaning it every time i use it lol

I'm just off to cook my tea. I have been held up trying to get quotes for my car insurance renewal. I was mortified when I got the renewal notice so phoned to see why they couldn't offer the same price as they do on the comparison website. They have now lost my business as I have found a provider with as good, if not better, policy saving me £200. Not to be sneezed at!!!! :-D

Morning all, well it is wet and windy here but I don't care I am staying in :-D
After spending all of yesterday drifting in and out of sleep I do feel a little better today thanks. I have no energy at all but at least the soreness appears to have improved.
Maz seeing the bit about a bowl of water in the oven, have you tried adding a good dash of lemon juice as that is what I do to clean my microwave.

never thought of lemon juice i use white vinegar for cleaning and sprayed that on it has helped a bit
