Ta wit, Ta woo...........who let the ool in the hoose?

I say, have you noticed we have a new emoticon? No longer do we need to use :-0 as sad, we have :-( instead! And the piece of paper going into an envelope to denote a post has been added to a thread is back. That may have been added last week, but I've only just cottoned on :-D And, And, When someone has sent you a pm, you not only get the closed envelope on the bar towards the top of the page, it also tells you how many new messages you have.

If we want to have another go at meeting, I have very few prior engagements, apart from 10 Oct.

A 12lb baby? Ouch! Hope the mum is ok - they used to test fro diabetes when someone gave birth to such a large infant.

And I'm back to my Jewish heritage, having moved on from Blochs to Cantors, who are actually Cohens! :-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 22 Sep 2011 16:45

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 22 Sep 2011 17:56

Maz - LG and I are flexible. As long as 10 Oct is Ok with YG, and YOU want to/are able to travel, then we'll go with that!!!

Ah, the Cantor/Cohens :-| Having given up on Abraham Bloch, I decided to back track his wife. With someones guidance, we worked out who Charlotte Cantor (mother-in-law) b Bath, lodger, on 3 census was married to, and bought the MC. Then couldn't understand why he had a different surname (Cohen) to his father (Cantor). The helper suggested purchasing a 1853 bc with the surname Cantor, but gro sent one in the name of Cohen. Much tooing and froing until gro said the one I'd ordered (Cantor) had been registered in error, and they were legally only able to issue the corrected Cohen one. Apart from the surname, all other details were the same and matched the MC.
Are you still with me ? :-D :-D
But it does mean that I'm not sure if I'm looking for BMD as Cohen or Cantor, and there are several Cantor families in the area. :-(

Bet you wish you'd never asked LOL

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 22 Sep 2011 18:34

Ooops! That was the day I said I can't go. Was it the 15 then? Yes, that's the following Saturday.

Sorry for the confusion.

So - how does Sat 15 Oct sound to Maz, or would you prefer to leave it this autumn?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 22 Sep 2011 18:48
