Well, I dunno. Clicked on the 'future engineering works' and ended up with the journey planner!! ??

Told OH we were having 'another go at PB'. He didn't hear 'another' and wanted to know why he and I were going there - lol He's fine about it, unless the arrival back and station pick up clashes with 'Merlin' ;-)

LOL. Mine just sort of grunted as he is busy watching something on TV.

Good oh- mines watching Hollow Man 2, but I'm giving it a miss.

Off to bed now, and will try and catch you tomorrow morning, or at least have a look when we get back.

morning all we had a power cut last night briefly so i gave up ,i checked the rail enquiries we should be out of the way before the hassle starts .
I would love to meet again perhaps we can fit a northern meet later on
it is so dark here today and i did not want to crawl out of bed however I need to get some chores done .

Well browsing the threads over best go and get a start on the dreaded as I have mini Gooner (only the bigger one) here for an afternoon of fun. I have got the well stocked craft box ready so just think of me covered in glue and sticky bits not to mention paint and felt tips :-( :-|. Have a good day one and all and catch you later <3

Well I am as ready as I will ever be, unless of course I take a polishing cloth to the leaves of the indoor plants and a scrubbing brush to Spot. There are bits I am not happy with, however I am now being far too picky. Not to mention the fact that I am exhausted.

We are having a family meal tomorrow night. I spent most of the day preparing the food. I don't want to be stuck in the kitchen cooking so I thought I would get most of it sorted beforehand.

Just had a phone call to let us know all is well and they will arrive at 8.30 am tomorrow morning. We are picking them up from the airport, should be fun as we have never met before. Yes we have swapped descriptions. A tall person and two smaller people on their side, and two little old people on our side.

Heavens weren't those school students in Durham lucky to survive that bus accident. We had footage of it on our news this evening. Evidently the police are puzzled as to why the bus went down that particular road, because it was not its usual route. Quite a few were injured however the reports said they were very fortunate not to have been killed.

Of well I am almost falling asleep. Need to be up very early tomorrow morning so I'm off to bed.

It's been a lovely day here and a reasonable forecast for the weekend for a change! Do have some of the unmentionable to do though!

it seems that Darlington where the bus accident was is very prone to traffic issues .and diversions are the normality the particular bridge is a very low one and any driver must be aware of the height of the vehicle at all times
Bus school runs dont always stick to their routes to enable them to get the pupils in school on time as the driver gets wrong if they are late .Andrew is in the same situation many times .He has to cover for the regular drivers at a moments notice and has to rely on the kids at times for the route .but the signs are clearly marked up for that bridge so he or she will be in a lot of bother .
well its the weekend and I have the chores to do lol

Weekends aren't for chores Maz, you're supposed to have a rest at weekends.

Well the ticket is booked. Arriving PB 11.35 and have booked on the 18.22 for the return journey. Whoo hoo!!!

I have been on the website and I will arrive at P B 11.38 and leave at 18.16. Not bad timing that one
