Morning all. Sound like you have your next excursion arranged. I really should catapult myself over and join you. The QEII is a bit expensive for a day outing. That is, providing it is still in operation.

Had a sleepless night, of course. Kept thinking about what I hadn't done, and in some cases actually got up and did it. I'll tell you about it sometime.

OH also had a restless night and he is so excited!!

Off to the shower and dress then to the airport.

Had a really disturbed sleep last night because of a neighbour's house alarm going off for half an hour at 4.15 this morning!! I was not impressed, as I had to be up at 6am! It had better not go off again tonight or I will be out with my chambuk lol!! :-D :-D

I'll book the train for PB after coffee no.3 to dept for home somewhere between 1800 - 1830. Lets home the cheap tickets haven't disappeared in the last 24 hours!!!

We had a good time at the family event, leaving to come home at 22.30, and getting in 23.45, so too late to log on.

OH gave us a scare as he decided to faint while we were there, so I didn't actually see the ceremony. Bearing in mind that the Groom is a police officer, and the Bride a nurse, there were lots of people who came to his aid. When he came round, he thought he'd gone to heaven with a bevvy of young ladies in their low cut decoupage bending over him ;-) One of my cousin's once removed is Sister in Charge of A&E and Resuc so she stepped in and took charge of him, as opposed to the mish mash of other specialities. With her 30+ years of experience, we trust her explicitly. The others wanted to play it safe and ship him off to 'ospital!!

We didn't have to sit on the same table as the Groom's relatives after the meal, (one of my worries), which is just as well. They were on a different planet to us mainly being Ex-pats and trying to out do each other. OH has the same experience, but preferred to sit back and let them get on with it :-D :-D

DET hope hubby is OK was it just the heat or just hunger perhaps he needs to get checked out

He's had a cold like lurgy for the last week, and has been taking copious amounts of aspirin to thin out the gunge. We think that they also thinned his blood too much, and combined with his BP tablets, his pressure dropped too low. He has a proper check up at the end of the year, but if it happens again before then, he'll be shipped off to the GP. We aren't overly concerned, but he is taking it easy just the same.

It's been lovely here and quite a reasonable forecast for the remainder of the weekend. They were saying on tv last night that it is going to hit 83 degs. soon, but then a sudden change to a very cold autumn! I'll believe the heat when I see it!! :-D :-D :-D

Got very little done today. Did some unmentionables this morning and then went into town to look for a couple of dresses. No bloomin' luck, came home empty handed with those, but did manage to get a couple of pairs of shorts and tops in the sale at N**t. I'm struggling to know where to look now, but might try a place about seven miles from here that has a few nice boutiques. BUT, I won't hold my breath!!
