Our local weather station recorded the highest temperatures in the UK AGAIN today :-D :-D :-D :-D Mind you, some friends in a different part of the country think the instruments may be calibrated incorrectly. Spoil Sports.

It was certainly warm enough to sit outside this afternoon in shirt sleeves, unlike a lot of 'summer'. And the same again until at least the end of the w/e :-D

Think I might dig out cropped trousers to wear to visit the in laws tomorrow, just as a taking point you understand ;-)

I shall probably be in mine as I have most of the day to myself and will spend it at home pottering about doing a few odd bits and bobs. I think I may try and get a hair appointment for sometime Friday so as to look stunning (as always :-D :-D :-D). Off to bed now as I really do need my beauty sleep. Nite nite DET sleep well <3

Of course you always look stunning, and have to fight off young men half your age. if you throw your tresses over your shoulder and look alluring, you might even attract a few spares ;-) :-D

Morning folks what a lovely few days we are having I am going to enjoy being out of doors today after work
so lets hope its not too much of a shock when the weather does change again lol

Would you lot like to share our weather.

Rain, rain, gale force winds, hail in some areas. Then cold winds, lots of sunshine, more rain, more winds.

The farmers think it is great. I wish they would go to the supermarket and buy their vegies in cans so I don't have to feel guilty about wishing the hot weather was here.

Our TV mentioned Arsenal's win as a "narrow escape". There, there, LG, a win is a win, isn't it. Our grand final is on Saturday. The two top teams play against each other. Ho hum, boring. My team has a new coach, the temporary one did not want the position full time. The coach we have is an ex member of the team who was traded to another team many, many years ago. Yes I am wrinkling my brow and pondering why!!

Hi Aunty, yes it was a lucky win but with such a large number of new players we could not really hope for much more.

It is really warm here today although as I say I am not enjoying it so far as I am still stuck in the office buried in various paperwork

it has been a lovely day got loads done in the garden it was my lucky day .knock on the door this morning a certain power tool company have a factory in this area .they try out the batteries and tools on hedges by going around randomly selecting gardens lol all done for free mine was chosen because of the variety in the hedgerow of foliage not bad eh!!
they dont clear up so i have been doing it but who cares it was a real help
