Poor Aunty's long suffering OH :-) Yesterday I managed to divert part of my portion of pasta to a separate bowl.............the contents of which PC ate for lunch!! Hopefully, I can continue to do that whenever OH cooks. Now if I can only catch him in time when he is pouring wine, that could be a few more empty calories unconsumed.

Once you've drawn breathe, you'll probably be back on the trail of the missing potentially living relatives. You've had quite a roller coaster ride over the last few months, so its not surprising that you feel exhausted.

Glad you rescued the washing Maz - no rain here as yet and another good day, if a bit blustery. We had an outing.........to the dump :-D And then to the garden centre for hyacinths to force for January. They are now planted up, although I'm wondering if I've left it too late.

Evening everyone.

Yes, I did have my feet up last night DET!! Favourite tv programmes and on watch!!! Successful evening till almost bedtime, then the perisher appeared again. I stood for some considerable time contemplating a glass and cardboard, but it was right up against the skirting board! Anyway, after succumbing to the large sweeping brush, it reigns no more!!

There was another one in the bath when I got home tonight, but I can handle those with my long handled feather duster and straight out of the window lol!!

Feet will up again tonight, but relaxing after a long day and two hours overtime. My back is breaking so it will be rested well this evening!

Sorry to hear your back is playing up - perhaps you need a new office chair? 'Elf and Safety and all that?

And well done for winning the fight with the 8 legged thingy. I can ignore the smaller ones, the makers of nature's fly traps, but would prefer not have the autumn fat, hairy ones around.

LaGooner Report 3 Oct 2011 22:53

I usually get a call from YAL to go kill. I hate them too but they do not freak me out as much as her. Went to kill one yesterday and ended up slaughtering 2 :-P

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Oct 2011 10:13

Thank goodness we don't have any pets to bring in 'presents'!!

Looks as if the summer clothes are to go back in the loft, and the jumpers brought out again. Well, the Indian Summer couldn't last. Roll on next spring. At least it looks as if it might be dry in PB on Saturday.

LOL at all the little gifts brought in by the cats. Ours used to bring in birds and mice, we've never had frogs, toads or worms though. Just as well really, we need the worms and frogs to help out with the garden. :-)

DET, we've jumped from the Indian Summer straight into winter, it's really cold today. We had rain all day Sunday, gales yesterday and very cold today. The forecast is for hail on Thursday.............. lovely!

We've had a few of those big hairy spiders this last week, they don't half run fast don't they? I'm OK until they run, then I suddenly act as if I'm being attacked by a rottweiler.

My, things have been quiet on here - you almost woke my up on the Throne Maz!

Not sure what to do today. We could go shopping, but that could wait for another day. And the grass could be cut while it is still dry, if OH is up to it. He still feels a bit under the weather from his lurgy, so it must be similar to the one LG has/had.

Only 3 nights sleep until PB!! PC spotted the entry on the calender and asked if we were going to have another try. If the lines come down again in strong winds, well.......... :-|

LaGooner Report 5 Oct 2011 16:53
