The peace and quiet is the best here lol A thought there would be no hot water so has gone elsewhere for tea etc iam going to get a early shower and rest though .

Holiday? You'll probably be spring cleaning the Oldies houses!! LOL - but other people's cleaning is more interesting than your own, and you might have time to stroll along the 'front'. Hope you manage to shake of the lurgy before you go, so as not to pass it on

Morning all. Overcast cold slightly windy with a hint of rain. Wonderful weather to set off on a fishing trip!! Apart from swimming Spot does not actually take part in the fishing experience. OH and mate will go out on a boat to the really deep water. Spot stays on shore and sleeps under the caravan with someone keeping an eye on him.

No danger from crocs but we need to be mindful of sharks which do occasionally come in close to shore. Spot isn't allow to swim out too far. As for the fate of the fish. We have very strict size rules and have to throw back undersize fish. Anything which is legal size is cleaned and stored in an esky filled with ice. When OH gets home the catch is put in the freezer until we are ready to eat it. And yes the couple of rounds of beer in the pub will happen after the excursion; either to mourn the lack of decent sized fish or to celebrate a good catch.

LG I have been thinking about your avatar. You are correct there really isn't anything suitable on the net. I did find some Queen avatars but that was mostly album covers. I have an idea. Don't get too excited it is only a little idea . Will take a bit of time and depend if what I am thinking of will work. Ohhhhhh doesn't that sound lovely and cryptic.

Oooooo Aunty this sounds exciting I am sitting here with baited breath :-D :-D. I was going to ask my whizz of a daughter if she could draw up a queen in red and white with a laser flying on a broomstick. She is extra busy at work at the moment so I am biding my time ;-)

I have to admit to falling asleep tonight and think I will be tucked up before 10pm tonight!!! This is not like me lol!! I must have worn myself out on Saturday!!

Same here YG I still have not caught up yet. I saw Yidarmylass today and she is back to her own lively self ,unlike me I sat like a wet weekend in Brighton :-D.

That's how I feel LG and I can't stay awake any longer now. i am off under the duvet and fingers crossed we both feel livelier tomorrow!!

morning well i beat the lot of you to bed i was asleep by 8ish woke up about 7ish the ache seems to have gone my cough is a lot looser so hopefully we are on the way up lol

Morning- glad things are improving for you Maz. And thank goodness the neighbours didn't choose last night to party.

We are supposed to start a wall and ceiling wash-down today, but I'm still shattered and OH in bed. Never mind, there is always tomorrow!

LOL DET I have just packed away all the books etc in hallway ready to paint so I will be doing a wash down too.
