Thats good YG. Yes thanks I am feeling good today. I have been quite busy today so I am now a bit weary.

I have had an easy night tonight. Feet up and watching tv!!

I have booked an appointment at the opticians for an eye test. I think I need new glasses although it is only 18 months or so since I got these. I am going to try contact lenses I think.

YUK. The thought of them makes me cringe :-P. Oh has just picked up his new specs today and is now able to read the paper without needing longer arms LOL.

I don't know whether I will get on with them or not, but I am going to try, if only for my hols and at weekends! I really need to change style of frame on my specs for work. I hate these wide arms and feel like a blinkered horse!!

morning all
still coughing well here so I wont be working this afternoon as the group I work with are vulnerable and I dont want to pass it on
also my boiler went off last night and is working this morning so I think it is overheating .so i am calling an engineer out see what they say

Contact lenses - hmm, I'm like LG, and really don't like the idea of them. A friend was different strengths in each eye - one of reading and one for distance. She says the brain compensates and she is fine.

The wall and ceiling washing didn't happen yesterday. I wonder if it will today?

That doesn't sound like a job I'd want to be doing DET, I've cleaned my windows........... that's as much as I've done today. Might have more energy after more coffee.

Maz, stay away from the cyber hatch with that cough please...... LG's just got back on her feet, we don't want her getting any more germs.

1/3rd of the room done and are we are knackered. Strange how any resident offspring high-tails it out if there is a big job to tackle :-(

well done i am back for a top up boiler sorted .it was overheating due to there being too many thermostats on the radiators one need to be on all the time so he reckons so we will see how it goes

One black and a decaff with one sugar....

Fingers crossed your boiler works now. We have radiators thermostat valves on all of them, except the one near the room sensor thermostat in the Hall. Its a way of juggling how warm we want each room.

We have a tough day ahead tomorrow,. More VIPs visiting and we really need a favourable outcome. Best go and find the red carpet and give it a vacuum!! NOT!! We will be running round like headless chickens in the morning doing a bit of 'spit & polish' and extra special biccies!! Argghhh!
